Premise

A botched assassination on a di Plagia unravels the peace around Clan Plagueis, especially when it discovers that the hit was contracted and approved by Clan Vizsla. In response to Declan Roark's dismissal of her concerns, Dread Lord Ronovi Tavisaen has unilaterally declared war on the Mercenary Clan, deploying the full force of the Ascendant Fleet and the Ascendant Legion against the planet Zsoldos. Meanwhile, Vizsla braces itself against the incursion, ready to prove that not even the most powerful of Sith, Dark Jedi, and loyalists can best them. Who will come out victorious? And will said victors be rewarded handsomely for their efforts?

Summary

Members of Plagueis and Vizsla are invited to participate in this four week long feud, which contains fifteen unique event-long competitions to choose from. Each competition can be found in one of five bins, each with its own point total and grading criteria, for which details will be provided in each separate competition. Plagueians and Vizslans will vie for an overall placement in the top ten, becoming Heroes of the Feud.

While most competitions within AFoC will end on March 2nd, specific competitions that require more time and energy will end on March 9th. Objective competitions will be graded blindly, while more subjective competitions, such as fiction and graphics, will receive feedback and oversight from outside Dark Council members.

Participation

The first time a member participates in a competition within a bin, that member is awarded the participation points associated with that bin. In addition, members earn bonus participation points by participating in at least one competition in each bin.

The system will grant an additional 3 participation points for completing all bins in the event.

Placement

Members that place will earn placement points and crescents if placing in the top three. Clans earn points when members participate in competition types/bins or when members place in a competition. In accordance with the directives governing Feud Events in the Brotherhood, the event will begin at Tier 2 Crescents (and relevant modifiers, e.g. for low effort or for >10 participants, still apply), and are organized under this parent competition which will track individual achievements via a leaderboard, similar to normal Vendettas.

This parent competition will award Novae to the first, second, and third placements respectively, according to the individual leaderboard.

Rules and Grading

• The rules for placement in individual sub-competitions are covered within their descriptions below.

• The weight for placement of each competition is described within the competition.

• Tiebreakers will be determined by number of competitions completed in each bin, as well as level of placements - for example, a member who completed all the competitions within all five bins with three first place finishes and two second place finishes will be placed higher than a member with similar completion but with two first place finishes and three second place finishes.
