Valid Entry Criteria: Valid entries will come from one (1) member, but must consist of a two (2) to four (4) person team all from the same Clan and not part of any other team participating in this Battle Plan competition. Members can be part of one (1) team only. For members not in a Clan, they must form a valid group meeting size requirements with other members, not in a Clan. Valid entries must outline some type of plan that attempts to carry out the mission as outlined in the competition prompt using provided details and have at least 500 words of content. Valid entries must also have participation from every member of the team, contributing a reasonable amount of effort, with a summary of each member's contributions as well as their dossier pin numbers provided with the entry.
Grading Criteria: Entries will be graded based on the Battle Plan Grading Rubric. Any resulting ties between teams with grades from all 3 competition organizers will be broken by evaluating all tied entries against which fits best into the overall Brotherhood story.
Brief Overview: This competition will take place over the full duration of the event, but the prompt will be released in phases. With the first prompt coming at the start of phase 1 and the second prompt coming at the start of phase 2. These prompts can be found below within these competition details. A single battle plan entry should be submitted to this competition that seeks to accomplish the goal as established in phase 1, as well as phase 2.
== PHASE 1 PROMPT ==
Prompt: The enemy has assaulted Arx, and you and your fellow Clan members have been called on to aid in its defense. You must put together a plan to travel to Arx and push enemy forces out of a certain section of space and hold it.
Situation, Enemy Fleet Forces: The enemy has the entire Battle Group Elysium in space far above the continent of Uskil assaulting the Shadow Academy station Nesolat. It is expected that the enemy fleet will act aggressively, never backing down with little regard for their own lives, so their likely course of action is to remain engaged unless destroyed or your own retreat. Additional elements of the enemy fleet are also in orbit but are not expected to reinforce the position due to additional engagements by Brotherhood forces inside the window of this specific engagement.
Situation, Friendly Forces Deployment: You have at your disposal the entire collective strength of your Clan’s fleet. (Found on the possessions tab of the site on your Clan Roster) Rogue members should choose a Clan’s fleet to use for the purposes of this plan. However, it should be noted that it is strongly advised not to leave your Clan’s own holdings vulnerable to a sprawling new enemy whose scope is unknown in the galaxy.
Mission: Objective is to engage the enemy fleet currently engaged with the Shadow Academy station Nesolat, displace it, and establish defensive of the station in its place on one flank.
== PHASE 2 PROMPT ==
Prompt: The Administration and Observation sections of the Shadow Academy station Nesolat have detached and returned to the surface of Arx and docked near the Shadow Academy facilities there. The Grand Master has executed orders to establish defensive positions, you must put a plan together to establish air superiority over the entire area south of the Iron Legion Headquarters to defend it and friendly forces operating.
Situation, Enemy Fleet Forces: The following enemy units have been recorded operating in the area and are assaulting the objective area. 16 units Z-95 Headhunter Squadron, 8 units A/SF-01 B-Wing Starfighter Squadron, 4 units Collective Quadrijet Bomber Squadron, 8 units T-70 X-wing Starfighter Squadron, 8 units Lancer-class Collective s20 Frigate. Additional elements of the enemy fleet are also in the area but are not expected to reinforce the position due to additional engagements by Brotherhood forces inside the window of this specific engagement.
Situation, Friendly Forces Deployment: You have at your disposal the entire collective strength of your Clan’s fleet within the atmosphere of Arx, those not used in the battle plan will deliver your Clan's ground forces to the Iron Legion Headquarters. As well as any armor or ground forces that can effectively support air units. (Found on the possessions tab of the site on your Clan Roster) Rogue members should choose a Clan’s fleet to use for the purposes of this plan consistent with the one chosen in Phase I. However, it should be noted that it is strongly advised not to leave your Clan’s own holdings vulnerable to a sprawling new enemy whose scope is unknown in the galaxy.
Mission: Objective is to establish air superiority over the Iron Legion Headquarters so no enemy forces are able to operate above it.
