Oligard pulling the sanity from Evant

I used http://weavesilk.com/ and the Paint 3D application in Windows to create this image.

The Grand Master isn't a very visual thinker, it turns out.
But has he forgotten about something, or someone?

Also, are the Clan representatives identical in all but color because of artist laziness? Or is it a subtle metaphor of how they are all different, yet similar, hmm?

Just a bit of context to explain the image. The blue orb is the Arx while the grey thing is the Shadow Academy space station, the red line is a red lightsaber blade, which represents the DJB defence of the planet and the orbiting structure, and finally, that shadowy figure reaching upwards represents the Collective coming to destroy everything.

Persistence of Vision by Lokast Falls

This is what I imagined the Grand Master could have seen.

With all the turmoil the Collective has caused, the kidnapping of the Deputy GM,, CNS's Fleet Commander. The Collective makes this all out onslaught against the Brotherhood.

In a balance of outcomes, the Grandmaster has seen victory. But on the opposite side of that vision, receals what we never want to see. A Collective Victory. Here my vision of a Hive Mind Marine comes crashing into the gates of the Brotherhood.

So this is my first sketch since I bought my supplies. I pictured the Grand Master envisioning these giant iron gates with the Collective agents crashing through. I drew this by hand along with my lite-bright tracing table to get my rendition of the Hive Mind Marine figure on this thicker paper. One of these days I will get more adept at this drawing thing, but this is what I saw in my vision of the Grand Master's vision......
