Tactics are at the heart of every battle, and often decide wars. This competition will hearken back to one of the older methods of tactical face-off: Checkers!

You will be able to sign up until 2 days post-mock war start, at which point the brackets will be drawn up and the battles will begin. Who will stand atop this field of battle?

Rules

• This is a one-versus-one bracket battle that will be decided by the usage of a game of checkers.

• Each match will be the best-of-three, with matchups decided by random seed.

• Once it is time for a match, participants will be notified via discord through a direct tag and will have up to 72 hours from that tag to bring together a match.

• Should a player fail to respond and accept a matchup, the sole player that does will advance in an automatic win.

• In the event neither player steps forward and does not respond to the match call, both will be disqualified. This timetable was created to ensure the maximum possible time by end of the competition in the event all rounds go to the 72-hour mark, with full participation.

• Note: This timetable can be adjusted based on final numbers of participants.
