The Fiction:

In the wake of the Lunar New Year lies the rise of spring, the season of love, renewal, and new futures. So too is it the season of nuptials, with many cultures throughout the Galaxy intricate weddings and ceremonies of vows taking place among the first blooms of the year.

The Contest:

In this, the season of weddings, write a simple wedding vow in the form of a Haiku.

  • A Haiku is a poetic form that consists of three lines, with five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five in the third.

  • Haiku will be judged based on emotive impact, word choice, and overall flow.
