Celebrations throughout the Galactic Community serve as traditional reminders of who we are, where we come from, and why we developed the way we did. Every culture and species has, or had, some form of traditional celebrations, and while some may have eschewed theirs at for more modernized or standardized Galactic celebrations, there will always be adherents of the old traditions. During this most auspicious of festivals, we seek out and promote remembrance of such celebrations, to preserve cultures and heritage that may have otherwise been long lost.
Every species and culture throughout the Galaxy has many unique traditions and celebrations inherent to its people. Whether these traditions are roughly outlined in canon or borne through the headcanons of our members, we want to celebrate the traditions that have grown in our little slice of the universe and give them a spotlight. Write a fiction from the point of view of a character, explaining one of their traditions or celebrations to another, its origins or meanings, and how it is celebrated, as they witness the tradition or celebration together in person.
