Conflict:

Odan-Urr's Consular Conclave make peace with the Quermians and provide Aid on the Western Front

The Breakdown:

Following the botched intercession and diplomatic measures provided by the Vatali Empire and the Jedi Order, the Vauzem have changed tack as well, from attempted courtship with their previous foes, to branding them as instigators and rebels, and the true cause of the current conflict. Of note, Artemis Werd'la has been shown on holo and plasma screens, represented as attacking a Vauzem diplomat depicted as carrying sensitive information meant to end the conflict.

The Competition:

Not all of the Consular Diplomats were simply turned free or escorted simply to safety by companion Guardians, some had gone unassisted or were in private chambers when the conflict started and quickly became embroiled in the longer games of the war. Now guests of the Vauzem, they are treated as diplomatic parties but with high suspicion, never left alone with any ranking officer, and formally recognized as hostages by both sides. The question remains, how do the Consulars attempt to deal with their situations? Do they attempt to fight their way out of their confines? Negotiate? Or do they play the same game as their captors and move the pieces one turn at a time, anticipating their captors moves.

• Entries must detail a story of a member of the Consular Conclave who was captured by the Vauzem Dominion on Quermia during the initial outbreak of the conflict as they reconcile how they will move forward through their captivity.
• Entries must meet a minimum of 500 words for participation.
• Entries will be graded according to the Fiction Grading Rubric 3.0
• Placing entries may be canonized in Clan Fiction, pending your approval, after review.
