Odan-Urr's Sentinel Network Wages an Information War Against the Vauzem Dominion

The Breakdown:

Following the botched intercession and diplomatic measures provided by the Vatali Empire and the Jedi Order, the Vauzem have changed tack as well, from attempted courtship with their previous foes, to branding them as instigators and rebels, and the true cause of the current conflict. Of note, Artemis Werd'la has been shown on holo and plasma screens, represented as attacking a Vauzem diplomat depicted as carrying sensitive information meant to end the conflict.

The Competition:

Even if both sides are in complete opposition, they are both mostly made of men and women with their own thoughts, feelings, wants, and desires. The Sentinel Network's job is to infiltrate the ranks of the Vauzem Dominion, utilizing the Sephi members of the Order, and learn the inner workings, understand the people, and work to sway them against themselves, all while feeding information back to their allied forces on the ground. One of the biggest threats facing any spy is the cognitive dissonance as they are exposed consistently to the values and viewpoint of their opposition, as well as the normative view of the other side of the conflict as everyday people.

• Entries must detail a story of a member of the Sentinel Network who has infiltrated the Vauzem Dominion on Quermia as they learn just who their enemies are, and just how much they have in common as normal people, how they face their mission, and cope with the struggles that may rise working alongside them for an extended time.
• Entries must meet a minimum of 500 words for participation.
• Entries will be graded according to the Fiction Grading Rubric 3.0
• Placing entries may be canonized in Clan Fiction, pending your approval, after review.
