I would like to nominate DEF Torin Ardell for promotion to Padawan, effective immediately. Torin has been a powerhouse for House Hoth since he was recruited by his Master. With no pushing by leadership Torin has 8 competitions since his last promotion. In addition to participating Torin has placed in several of them, even earning a Cr:D for his 1st place finish in the Clan run Tales of New Tython.

Torin has also been awarded 3 Pendants of Blood for playing Destiny, has been promoted in the Shadow Academy Society, and has passed 2 Leadership Courses in the SA. He is constantly communicative in the House mail group and has joined in on discussions through the DJB Forums. Lastly Torin has been awarded a Dark Cross recently to show our appreciation for the exceptional work he has performed in service of Odan Urr.

If I had more members as proactive as Torin, the other Houses and Clans of the Brotherhood would be in serious trouble. Congratulations Padawan, one more to go!

Torin Ardell is one such example of a member who isn't afraid to go above and beyond, regardless of rank. I have seen Equites that work far less enthusiastically and with less dedication than Torin Ardell, who managed to score second place overall in our latest event, Lost Civilization. In fact, I have recognized him as an extremely strong writer and overall heavy-hitter when it comes to the quality of his competition entries. One day, I hope to see Torin take on the mantle of Quaestor, Proconsul, Rollmaster, or even Consul. For the meantime, I hope that this recommendation will suffice to push him along his path to one day fit into these shoes. Good luck, and congratulations!
