Anytime you get a new member joining your unit, there's a sense of excitement - what will this person bring to the table? What skills and expertise do they have that could help benefit us? Rarely, however, do I get this excited about seeing what someone new to Tarentum can accomplish as I am with Kaiburr. Kaiburr has a servant's heart and mind, constantly asking what he can do to help and even coming up, unbidden, with ideas and projects on his own.

One of them was the idea - which seems so obvious in hindsight that I'm embarrassed as a leader I didn't think of it myself - to put together a survey for our membership to take about their likes and interests, their strengths and level of comfort in various areas (the Wiki, the SA, gaming, fiction), and other assorted useful items. He mentioned it, I think in passing, to me and the next day he had put one together; I'm not sure he had ever used Google Forms before, but he figured it out just to do this. We put it out for our members earlier today, and I'm already gleaning useful information from it, none of which I would have if Kaiburr hadn't taken it upon himself to get it done. From a grateful Summit, Kaiburr, please accept this Dark Cross; I have a feeling this is the first of many recommendations I'll be writing for your incredibly helpful work for Tarentum.
