After the events on Dentavii (awakenings clan event) it has become apparent to Marcus that, in order to follow the ways of the Sith, he would have to give up on friendships he has come to hold dear. While he refuses to give up on the Dark Side, he has since abandoned the Sith ways, seeking refuge within the numbers of Dark Jedi instead.
