Primary reason

Since his joining us from Tarentum, Kaiburr - or Mord as most of us know him - has been nothing short of an impressive member. Both in his general activity and beyond. Since his elevation to Knighthood he has earned himself 2 Dark Crosses, and both a Steel Cross and an Anteian Cross for his work in both Tarentum and Arcona.

Within Soulfire he’s been a great aid in reworking the team’s roots and developing a framework with me to allow the battleteam members to help take the team’s storyline forward. His motivation to drive the team’s development and to better the unit displaying some real leadership potential I’ve not seen in quite some time.

On a grander scale Mord has been the driving force behind a new initiative within the Clan, where every month the focus lies on advancing in one of the Brotherhood’s Societies. For our newer members this is a great opportunity to explore the Brotherhood whilst for our more veteran members this gives incentive to take part in areas of the Brotherhood they might not usually do.

Through his participation in 70 competitions Mord racked up a total of 15 Crescents. His gaming activity with over 100 matches played currently totals to: 176 CF’s, a grand 587 CE’s and 3 PoB’s. He’s also earned 16 CI’s, and 2 LoS’ with fiction and trivia. Other than all this he’s also successfully taken 10 SA courses, making Mord truly a jack of all trades.

Kaiburr is truly an exemplary member, always looking for improvement and things to do. Always hungry to teach and be taught. It’s been a pleasure working with you Mord, and this promotion is nothing if not completely deserved. Congratulations and I look forward to seeing where you will take yourself in the future!

Kaiburr is one of my best students. Since he joined House Galeres, I have pressed him harder and harder to help him realize his own potential. And I am honored to award all of that hard work, dedication, and skill as he advanced into the first rank of the Equite class.

He has not only participated in sixty nine competitions, but he has become a producer of content, too. His initial proposal for the Chronicler, Curator, and Bladeborn of Clan Arcona is nothing short of brilliant; it was over eight pages and outlined how we could get members to be active in a multitude of activities: Antei Combat Center, Antei Contract Bureau, PVE, PVO, PVP, Shadow Academy, etc etc et al. This competition was well received by the Clan Summit, refined, and turned into a quarterly honor for each of the three focus areas - becoming part of Arcona lore and culture.

He is a sponge for knowledge. Whether it is between class or late into the night, he is voracious in consuming knowledge, insight, and direction from me and his other leaders. I have seen him mature so much since his last elevation. It has been an honor to watch him grow and become a better young man focused not only on the Brotherhood; becoming a better Clanmate, husband, and friend. Thank you, Mord. I am honored to be part of your growth and development.

While Kaiburr was in Tarentum, he was a flurry of activity. And it's more than just this. It begs a bit of intro as to why he came to Tarentum.

He was pointed towards me for conversation and input, as he wanted his character to delve into darker things. As he and I grew our friendship, he began to see the poor state Tarentum had been in. As a giving person, he wanted to help out, and transferred in. The only motivation for this was Kaiburr's willingness to try and fix a problem or failing when he sees it. He's motivated, dedicated and giving.

Kaiburr volunteered early on to mentor Xenna, a new recruit to Tarentum. When Kaiburr decided he'd helped out and could do no more among us, he and Xenna chose to both depart to Arcona; such are the close bonds that he forms with people, that they become lifelong friendships.

Additionally, Kaiburr took it upon himself to create a Google Docs folder to contain all the past lore of Tarentum provided by Pel, and that would grow and expand with all we continue to do. It was a project he didn't get assigned, but rather, one he took on of his own initiative. He tries to identify areas where he can build, repair or just expand, and he does a great job of it.

I'm happy to see this effort put forward to promote him, and add my own voice to it. Kaiburr is active and personally motivated to make this Club better, and I am certainly very glad we have him here.

Congratulations, my friend.
