Primary reason

Savant Kenath Zoron, has been an integral part of Taldryan since his arrival. Working hard under the leadership of both Taldryan Summit and under his master Darth Pravus. Zoron has been an incredible addition and an amazing part of our clan. Having been around the clan for over 2 years, and a part of the brotherhood for 14 Zoron has grown to know the ins and outs, and has managed to step up and take active leadership roles. A far greater thing Zoron accomplished, and one of the most important life lessons that you can learn is to never bite off more than you can chew, as well as admit when you’re in over your head. Zoron has taken on many jobs since he was last promoted but he had the humility to admit that there was too much on his plate between balancing the real world, Quaestor of an active house, while being both on the Appeals Panel, and serving as the Magistrate to the Grand Master himself. Yet, somehow Zoron found the time to not only be an active member of Taldryan but a successful one as well. Zoron earned a Grand Cross for his devout work as Quaestor of Ektrosis. He has also won 49 crescents in these past 10 months, ranging from Crescents with Ruby Stars to Crescents with Quartz Stars but what’s more incredible is that he’s won 49 crescents out of the 84 competitions that he’s been in, that means almost 60% of the time that when he clicks the submit button he is going to finish in the top 3. That’s something that most of our brothers can’t say. Zoron doesn’t only dominate competitions he makes them as well creating 12. Zoron has also received 6 Pendants of Blood for his die-hard gaming efforts. Those 6 pendants are trumped only by the incredible 85 Clusters of Earth he’s been awarded. Clusters of Earth aren’t enough for him though he has also received 3 Clusters of Ice and a whopping 463 Clusters of Fire. He has received a scroll of the master for his continued guidance with his student Kyber. Gaming isn’t all that Zoron does. Zoron posted 8 reports in his 3 months as Quaestor. In addition, Zoron has even written almost 1800 Words of Fiction, and passed 3 Shadow Academy Courses furthering his education in the brotherhood. For his continuous efforts and tremendous work in Taldryan and the Brotherhood I recommend that Kenath Zoron is promoted to Seer.

Additional reasons

Zoron has been a steadfast and active member of Clan Taldryan and of the Brotherhood itself since he (re)joined us in February 2014. He's an active gamer, having earned well over 500 Clusers (primarily of Fire) and an equally active competitor - having participated in 82 competitions since his last promotion in mid-March. More astounding to me? Zoron's placement percentage - having earned 43 crescents from these 82 competitions, meaning he places a little over half the time he participates. That's outstanding ratio - and it speaks to both Zoron's dedication (in that he'll edit and try and re-try until he gets it right) as well as his natural talent.

In addition, Zoron was a fine leader for Ektrosis, having served as its Quaestor for a little over three months since his most recent promotion. In that time, he organized a dozen competitions and posted 7 reports. Along the same lines, Zoron has fufilled the leadership requirements for Seer - having served as a magistrate to the Grand Master for over 9 months, plus time on the Appeals Panel (this is all in addition to his Ektrosis leadership time)!

Congratulations, Zoron - and I look forward to seeing what you do next!

I love me some Zoron. I probably don't say it enough, but I've been building up this persona of an angry jerk for a very long time, and gooey happy feelings really would get in the way of that. But I do love me some Zoron. The thing about Zoron is, he's a very weird combination of old time member, and still fresh enough to have that new car smell. Obviously, that's because he was around in the before times, and he only just "recently" returned to us, but it is very interesting.

In Zoron there are represented the majority of the qualities that I personally value in members in the Brotherhood. He works hard, he's extremely active. He competes in things whenever he has time. Bobecc and Howie have both gone into details of the great numbers he has put up, but more important to me is that he does them. He's done them all while at the same time actually stepping back from the DB to spend more time out in the real world doing stuff like being a ninja and fighting crime by using excel sheets. But he stays active. He stays involved. He keeps his ear to the ground and isn't afraid to share his thoughts and opinions, or to help his clanmates out. He's what I want out of every member not only in my Clan, but in the DB itself.

Zoron was, and I don't mind saying this now, on the fast track for promotion in the Clan before he had to step back. He'd been our contingency for the future, the guy Howie and I were hoping would take over as Consul one day. There's a reason for that: Zoron is top quality material. He's the kind of guy who makes the DB better simply by being in it, and by being active. I was worried when he resigned from Quaestor that we'd be losing him from the DB forever. Thankfully, I was wrong, and Zoron has continued to contribute to the DB not only within Taldryan, but within the Club itself.

Congratulations on your promotion to whatever weird Gray Jedi get for EQ3 Zoron, you deserve it.
