What can I say. This has been quite a journey. In the two months since joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and Clan Naga Sadow, Janos has continued to forge his own path. Everything this Journeyman has worked on, he has strode to do so with excellence. He has competed in thirty-six competitions, twenty-four of which have been since his promotion to Acolyte about a month ago. His efforts have borne him results, winning crescents in not one, not two, but nine competitions- six of which have been since achieving the rank of Acolyte.
The man has shown dedication in both gaming and fiction, netting one hundred and eighty-five Clusters of Fire, five Clusters of Earth, and nine Clusters of Ice. The kicker to this? All of these except one Cluster of Ice have been since achieving Acolyte. I don’t know about anybody else but I think that speaks to his drive for self-improvement! He has also fought hard in Jedi Academy, improving in leaps and bounds- helping him to achieve Rank IV in the Grand Master's Royal Guard.
Outside of pretty baubles and crescents, Janos has also worked to expand his character’s history in greater detail, writing over 3000 words of fiction and creating a quality wiki page. He has also engaged studies in the Shadow Academy, completing Leadership courses in both Competitions and Awards. He has gone on to apply that knowledge to use in the creation of content for his fellow club members. The ticker may not count it until it is completed, but the three competitions he has running at the writing of this recommendation tell me that Janos has a desire to do more than just consume.
So a person may look at all the above and say “okay so he completed the requirement for Knight. Good on him.” Speaking personally, I have to say that these factors and the time that I have spent with Janos Stormwind tell me this man could have a very long history with the club. Good times have been had in correspondence both privately in email and publicly among the Clan in Telegram. I can say it warms my heart to see the work he has put forward being rewarded. He has also like many here helped me to forge happy memories, and for that I thank him. I can say I wholeheartedly look forward to the future efforts of this fellow in the days to come, and I hope I will be permitted to help write part of his next promotion to come.
Rise as a Knight, my brother.
