It is always a great pleasure to see a promising Journeyman prove worthy of Knighthood. It is particularly true in case of Talis, who has emerged from a year long hiatus just a month ago. Since then, he has been an extremely active member of Clan Odan-Urr, participating in 16 competitions overally, which are Decode the Message, Sides of a Coin, Hole in... One?, Prologue Puzzle – Piercing the Caldera, Heroic Aerobics, Hamster's on the Run, [INQ] Shrouded Loyalty, A Day of Infamy, Darkest Hours, Stars and Planets, oh my! Trivia, GJW XI Round 2: Fiction, GJW XI Round 2: GFX, GJW XI Round 2: Puzzle, GJW XI Round 2: Gaming, Esoteric's Identity and GJW XI itself.
Apart from taking active part in various competitions and earning a Crescent for his efforts, Talis has helped the Summit in creation of an NPC, Wing Commander Bal Eris, and has earned an Anteian Cross for his assistance in this matter and general activity. He has also passed two leadership courses (Leadership: Management and Leadership: Competitions). His efforts in learning at the Shadow Academy, including getting a Dark Maven – Combat, has earned him Rank 4 in the Shadow Academy Society.
Talis has also earned 15 Crescents of Ice for accumulated 7500 words long fiction. Finally, his character Wiki article has been approved by the Wiki Staff, as it provides valuable insight into the past and personality of his character.
All these achievements make Talis more than ready to finally become a fully-trained Jedi Knight. As he has mentioned himself, it is an irony that he has earned „Eternal Acolyte” Trophy by spending a full year at a rank of an Acolyte. Fortunately, it is no more and I am honoured to recommend him to a promotion to the final rank of the Journeyman. Congratulations!

Talis is the type of Journeyman any Quaestor can be proud of. He is vocal on the Clan Odan-Urr mailer as well as in the Clan Odan-Urr Telegram channel, also has been consistently active through competitions and project work, since his return, as stated above by our Rollmaster. Talis is the kind of member that brings passion and drive to everything he does even when his opinions are different from those of his peers, he still speaks up and is able to articulate his idea in a way that is enlightening to his point of view.
Since meeting Talis I have always considered him to be at the level of what one would expect of a Knight. Talis, keep up the hard work and I know I will have the pleasure of writing many more of these for you.

I can't say that I knew Talis during most of his time as a Journeyman, but since returning to activity at the end of February he's been a whirlwind of activity. Email, Telegram, fiction, ACC, SWTOR, oodles of competitions - there aren't many areas of the club that Talis hasen't managed to find his footing with in the last month. In fact, if anything I think Xantros understated Talis' achievements in the SA. He's passed 11 courses in the past month, earning himself a degree and two SAS ranks. More importantly, he's just a helpful and pleasant guy to have around. Talis has a bright future in Satele Shan, and the House will be unstoppable if we can recruit more Knights like him.

Talis has definitely taken a non-traditional path to Knighthood, but as his most recent achievements have shown, he hasn't missed a beat. He has had a strong, engaging presence within our community and his activity spans the spectrum from gaming to traditional fiction and even jumping into the ACC.
Taken as a whole his path to Knighthood shows a perseverance to finish what one starts, even when real life doesn't always cooperate. That in and of itself is worthy of celebration but the sizable splash he has made in Odan-Urr since his return shows that he's far from finish and Knighthood is only the beginning.
Congratulations on your Knight saber Talis, I have no doubt I'll be welcoming you into the Equite ranks before too long.

I am proud to say I have watched Talis work his way up from a simple Apprentice through the ranks of Journeyman to be where he stands today: Knighthood. His constant activity, as mentioned by our Rollmaster, allows him to be considered a highly valued member. He has worked hard not only to elevate himself but to elevate his peers by constantly contributing well thought out ideas in Clan discussions as well as helping to rally support amongst the membership through the Clan email and Telegram channels.
As my Padawan, he always keeps me informed of tasks he’s completed as well as is always looking to do more. He is responsible, courteous and above all else, a good friend. Talis, this is why I’m honored to stand before you today as you reach this point in your career. Thank you for all the amazing work you've done, are doing and will do in the future. Congratulations!
