TheGeosh has been quietly working his way up the Journeyman ranks since he first joined six months ago. He does not create a lot of fanfare, but once in awhile you'll find him on Telegram or an email thread. More often you'll see him picking up crescents or getting perfect scores on SA courses. At the rank of Hunter we begin to look for more in our members than simply being a participant in competitions or an occasional visitor to Telegram.

A Knight is a core member; a trusted, long term part of our Clan that we can rely on as a participant and who has begun to take an interest beyond the confines of a Battle Team or even a House. TheGeosh has not only participated in a variety of different kinds of competitions but has also tried his hand at running several gaming competitions and qualified in the ACC. I look forward to seeing him branch out to excel in the many other avenues the Brotherhood has to offer, from writing to the ACC as well as mentoring and leadership.

I believe TheGeosh has proven to us that he is here for the long haul and is interested in much of what we have to offer. I recommend that we elevate him to the rank of Knight, where a member ends the "guided tour" of the Journeyman and begins to share his experience and knowledge with his fellow Clanmates. I am proud of your accomplishments so far, TheGeosh, and I look forward to seeing what you can achieve with your new lightsaber. Remember that rank promotions are not merely rewards for past service: they are also a commitment to continued effort and greater responsibility. Congratulations, Knight!

There’s something about that final push from Hunter to Knight that many find difficult. There are still guidelines and a framework to follow, but many of our Journeymen falter just as they’re about to get to the truly wonderful part of being in the Dark Brotherhood. I’m proud to say that TheGeosh hasn’t fallen into that trap, and am happy to join in recommending him for promotion to Knight.

TheGeosh has shown his capabilities and competence time and time again in his tenure thus far in Tarentum - among a lot of other things, he’s run three competitions as a Journeyman (not co-organized!), he’s participated in a fantastic twenty-seven competitions and placed in five of them, and he’s earned 76 Clusters of Fire - and though he might be quiet I am confident he will only continue to grow as an invaluable member of Tarentum. TheGeosh, you’ve earned this promotion - enjoy it, but don’t rest on your laurels. You’re too good to stop now! Congratulations, Knight!

TheGeosh, my trusty apprentice, you are not only my colleague in real life at work but a partner in this great Club that we call “The Dark Jedi Brotherhood”. I’ve been nagging you for so long and now you’ve finally done it! You earned the right to stand amongst the Knights of Tarentum. The first part of your career just ended and you now beginning another journey of discovery where’s there’s no promotion guidelines, no set goals for you to do, you are now the architect of your own Dark Jedi Destiny.

Know this, that I am will always be here to help and to give advice should you need it. I foresee a great future for you in Tarentum and I am proud that you are part of my legacy here in the Clan. It is now time to start your own Legacy and share the knowledge I have given you.
