When I picked Knight Aiden Lee for AED, I never suspected what I signed up for. He has surpassed all expectations in the role, from day one. I have had some hard times in the last few months; and he has helped beyond the requirements of AED. He's essentially running the house for me.
Since last merit award, Aiden has organized 11.... it's been 2 months... 11 Competitions. All of this has been on his own. Not only does he walk the walk; he talks the talk and has competed in 37 Competitions. Not ONLY THAT but he has delivered placing in 13 of those 37 competitions. That would be 35% of competitions entered he's placed in the top 3. That's a helluva lot of work. On top of that, he has passed 5 courses and earned 3 degrees. Does it stop; no of course not, 9 PVP matches, 5 PVE activities, 4 ACC battles, 3 Fictional Activities, and a Partridge in a Pear Tree. 5,670 words of fiction, 1 POB, 52 clusters of fire, 18 clusters of ice. You want to define merit? This, this is Merit.
Leadership, is more than words, and often is more than action. It's how you serve the goal; the members you lead; and those who are senior in leadership. Aiden is on the path to greatness within this club. He is deserving of this high award of merit; not only due to the ferocity of his actions towards generating activity; and leading activity. But the servant leadership he displays towards his house; and clan; and the club as a whole.
