It is a proud day when a Master can bestow upon his Apprentice the rank of Knight of Arcona. Over the past eight months, I have watched as PaRapRappa has grown into a full fledged member of our club. Today, I am honored to write his lead recommendation as both his Quaestor and his Master.

Since his last elevation, he has completed the following tasks and more than exceeded the requirements for Knighthood: He has been awarded 13 Crescents, collected 3 Clusters of Ice, 15 Clusters of Earth, 575 Clusters of Fire, reached Rank 4 in the Grand Master’s Royal Guard, participated in 47 competitions, has been awarded two merit awards (Anteian Crosses), and organized 1 competition. In addition, he has been an active and supportive member of his Battle Team (as Zakath will outline), he has buoyed our participation numbers (as Kordath will outline), and become part of our online family.

For me, especially, this is a great day. Anthony has been a long-time friend of mine that has always supported (read: ignored) my Star Wars fanaticism. He played SWTOR with me when it launched, he waited in line with me for The Force Awakens, and he has helped me move all my Star Wars books from house-to-house over the years. When he asked me about joining our club to better understand Star Wars and what I do online with my “internet friends” it was a great day. To be able to share with him, watch him embrace, and - ultimately - succeed in our club has been an amazing journey. I am honored to name him another of Arcona’s Gaming Legion, a Knight of Arcona, and my brother-in-arms. Congratulations, Anthony!

It has been my honor to watch PaRapRappa as he undertook his journey toward Knighthood. He is one of those members that most people would not notice if one did not know him in Real Life like Braecen does. Due to severe RL commitments, he is not an avid talker on Telegram or email. But despite this, PaRapRappa, or Anthony as he is informally known, has proven himself to be a vital and active member of our community.

Joining the Tal’mahe’Ra Battleteam shortly after its formation, Anthony was one of the members that eagerly provided his contributions to the team, providing us with some wonderful Motto ideas, and just recently giving us an excellent detailed NPC profile that we will be using for our Wiki work, taking 1st place in the “Recruiting NPCs for the Tal’mahe’Ra” competition in the process. In addition, he is one of the members that has consistently contributed to the Tal’mahe’Ra Open Prompt competitions, expanding our fictional storyline with his adventures.

In short, Anthony is one of those members that may appear quiet on first glance, but if you look at the numbers, is proving himself to be an eager and active member. He is a rising star in our Gaming Community, is poking his toe into the fictional arena, and in short is becoming a valued and wonderful member of Arcona. It is for these reasons that I am honored to put forth my own recommendation and welcome *PaRapRappa to the ranks of Arcona’s Knights. Very well done!

PaRapRappa has been the model of an Arconan Journeyman in both self motivation and activity. In the past few months since gaining the rank of Hunter he’s not slowed or been discouraged from advancement. He has far exceeded the guidelines set for activity expected from one aspiring to Arconan Knighthood, and it’s a pleasure to welcome him into those ranks.
