Kelly Mendes is an outstanding and integral part of the House and one of those who Plagueis just could not do without. During our recent A Call to Arms feud event, Kelly participated in 19 of the 21 total events, taking a first place in the Hunt the di Plagia competition. Her 98 points out of the 559.5 total points earned by House Karness Muur were a huge part of our House’s victory in the feud. In total since her last recognition, she participated in 22 competitions and earned a Amethyst Star Crescent. She has earned 6 clusters of fire and five clusters of ice and completed 2,136 words of fiction. As well as all this, Kelly has been a driving force in keeping members engaged and active, especially following our Pro Bowl competition, an admirable trait in any member. She hosted a three event Aliso: Aftermath in the down time between the Pro Bowl and our A Call to Arms feud.

Kelly is what most members in the DJB aspire to be. She works hard, plays hard and is always at her best in whatever she does, be it beating her opponents into submission at pazaak, helping out others on Telegram where she is a constant presence, or grading exams. Kelly loves to help and I am proud to have her as a member of my House. It gives me great joy to recommend her for this award. Well done, Kelly. Keep up the amazing work!
