Primary reason

Today we recognized the continued efforts and workings of Kyo Akumu. “Tofu” has walked the long road since reaching Knighthood, and continues to demonstrate a keen mind and skilled work ethic. Over the last eleven months Kyo has continued to integrate himself into the clan, and today, I wish to recognize his efforts by recommending he be advanced into the Equite ranks.

Since reaching Knight, Kyo has competed in some 36 total competitions. His quality work has gone on to net him 3 Amethyst Stars, 8 Sapphire Stars, and 2 Topaz. He has also taken home an Anteian Cross. In a club where many hit Knight and then disappear, Kyo continues to come around and this dedication should be appropriately rewarded.

Congratulations Kyo!

Additional reasons

Kyo Akumu, my eldest and most loyal of students, who has developed and ascended to a strong and capable member. He pertains a degree of high standard of competitions that rival the Equites we see today, as a writer and a member. Kyo has participated in 36 competitions which has earned him a total of 3 Amethyst, 8 Sapphire, and 2 Topaz Crescents. As a writer, he has also participated in a fictional activity, and wrote 111 words, demonstrating his capability as an author.

As evidence for his high-quality and successful activity, Kyo Akumu also earned an Anteian Cross for his efforts in August 2016. As a beacon of activity for Knights across the Brotherhood, a prime example of a mature and growing member, and as a sign of respect to him, I am honoured in promoting him to Equite 1.

Congratulations, Warrior Akumu! The drinks are on you!

Kyo is a member we're very happy to have around in the clan, and delighted that he's stuck with us for almost a year and a half, constantly churning out a consistent flow of activity in competitions and community contribution via telegram. Kyo takes a lot of pride in his work, and is constantly looking to improve, having participated in my fiction workshop earlier this year. Kyo continues to apply skills he's learned along the way. For this constant level of activity over 11 months, I'm happy to say Kyo is ready to join the Equite ranks. Congratulations
