Primary reason

What can I say about Tarvitz that hasn’t been said many times before? He is a fantastic, extraordinary member, being active on Telegram and on the site. He is friendly, and a gentleman in most ways. He’d completed all the tasks necessary to be Knighted by the time he was promoted to Padawan. Despite this, he’s continued to participate, earning himself a trove of awards. Since his last promotion 4 weeks ago, he has gained 3 Crescents (1 Amethyst, 2 Sapphire), 34 Clusters of Fire and 4 Clusters of Ice. He has also entered 7 competitions and finished 1 ACC battle. On top of this set of achievements, he’s also passed 3 SA courses.

Tarvitz has been an impressive member from the start, being one of the most active members of Battle-team Zirael. He’s gained 9 competition awarded overall and participated in a staggering 21 competitions – he’s even gone so far as to organise one of his own. He has reached rank 4 in both the GMRG and the SA. To show hope for becoming a future leader, he has also passed two courses from the Leadership department. He’s earned 224 Clusters of Earth and 7 Clusters of Ice. He has a quality wiki article, and has earned an astounding 5 Dark Maven degrees and 1 Dark Savant degree.

I’ve had the opportunity lately to work with Tarvitz in the co-op fiction competition that Clan Odan-Urr is currently running. The posts I’ve made are not by best at all, and due to real-life issues, I could only post after Tarvitz had waited for a good few days. He’s taken this in his stride, seamlessly picking up my slack and flexing his writing muscles. I believe this speaks of his commendable attitude, as someone who does things not only to help themselves, but those around him as well.

Tarvitz, I already count you among my good friends here in the Brotherhood. Congratulations, Jedi Knight Ka Tarvitz!

Additional reasons

Out of all of my previous students Ka Tarvitz is by far the most unique, besides being extremely friendly, well mannered and extremely knowledgeable about all things Star Wars and gaming as well. I think the one thing that definitely made him stand out to me was his eagerness to help. On a few occasions he insisted to lend a hand to help me gather information so i can complete my Aedile Reports on time.

With little direction he was not only able to complete the task but complete it with much more detail than i would have ever expected from a journeyman. His thirst for knowledge and his passion to not only be active but to be as helpful as he can is something i have not seen in a while. I truly believe that Tarvitiz is not only a great member but also a awesome human being as well.

Besides his helpfulness Tarvitz's activity is amazing! All i ever had to do was just give him some general ideas on what he needed to do for his promotion. He amazed me but not only hitting mostly every point I listed but the ones he didn't were because he was still in the process of perfecting his backstory and fiction. I for one am looking forward to seeing a completed Tarvitz Wikipage.

Anyway, I have been more than honored to guide you through the Journeyman ranks and it's now such a great honor to congratulate you on your promotion to full Knight of the Jedi Order!

Tarvitz was always a star of COU and Zirael and I am so please to see him ascend to Knighthood. He is always active in competitions, in the community (Telegram) discussions, and in story-telling in general. He is a keen Star Wars nerd and friend and is a key asset for COU.

Even though I have since departed COU, I have still seen him active in competitions and in Telegram, participating at many levels including Fiction and gaming areas. It takes a true fan and reliable member to see this level of dedication and thorough participation in a place like the Brotherhood. I cannot think of any reason he should not be fully Knighted, and I expect we will see more great things from him in the future!

There is not much more that can be said about Tarvitz: others have already mentioned his uncommonly good manners, high activity, and willingness to pitch in wherever he thinks he can be of assistance. Ka stands out. Not because he's looking for attention or glory, but because he leaves hardly any possibility untouched. He's participated in a wide variety of competitions and other activities and is an active participant in numerous Telegram channels. He has more than earned his Knighthood, and I can only hope that we'll continue to draw members like him to Odan-Urr.

Congratulations, my friend. I look forward to seeing where you go from here.

Tarvitz has been one of the most active members of Clan Odan-Urr since he joined us. While I haven't regularly interacted with him, the few times I have shown me what great guy and member he is. He is always willing to lend a helping hand or get a hand or two of Pazaak in when anyone asks for it. I look forward to getting to know him better as he enters the world of Knighthood. It is my pleasure to recommend Tarvitz for promotion to Knight!

Colonel Len Iode, 2016-11-19 16:30:20 UTC

Ka has chewed through his Knighthood requirements with reckless abandon and has been a strong presence in the Odan-Urr community. He has embraced everything we have to offer as far as fiction and the ACC goes. He is engaged, inquisitive, a fast learner and generally a pleasure to have in the Clan. I echo the comments of our other leaders that his Knight saber is beyond deserved.

I look forward to seeing more great things from him.
