If the mark of an upper equite is one who produces for the greater good instead of merely consuming then there are few who embody that ideal more than Corvus Corax. In the past thirteen months he has given so much to the Clan and the Brotherhood without asking anything in return. Having been Proconsul and Consul during that entire period I can confidently state that Clan Odan-Urr would not be where it is today without Corvus' efforts on our summit. He has served continuously for seven months, first as the founding BTL of Zireal, a bold experiment in enhancing the experience of our newer members, and as our Rollmaster. In both positions Corvus was directly responsible for not only integrating our new members and guiding them to Knight but also for advising the summit on initiatives to retain our current membership of all ranks. The results of his tireless efforts behind the scenes and sage advice speak for themselves, as of writing this Odan-Urr is the second largest unit in the Brotherhood (trailing the largest Clan by only one member) and five members reached Knighthood during his summit tenure. Corvus has had a direct impact on the health of our roster, which can be measured in the hundreds of messages and hours spent in various communication platforms guiding, listening, advising and mentoring members of all ranks and the larger summit.
As if his contributions as a summit members were not enough, Corvus consistently ranks as one of our lead members in individual activity. He was the top individual competitor in COU's feud with Plagueis, 1st place in the Remember New Tython Clan event, 3rd place in the Renewal of the Light Clan event, and 3rd place in the Battle Formations Clan event. He is absolutely one of the Clan's heavy hitters. Since his last promotion he has participated in ninety four competitions and has received a Grand Cross, a Dark Cross, a Gold Nova, thirty three Crescents, one Cluster of Fire, fifty one Clusters of Ice, ten Clusters of Earth, and four Clusters of Graphite.
It is my distinct honor to recommend Corvus' elevation to the upper equite ranks. I can honestly say that his service and leadership are an inspiration to me. Congrats!

Clearly Turel has illustrated our dear Rollmaster's numbers and they are quite impressive to say the very least but besides being active and participating in as much as he can. He is a great at his job as well, he brings a strong team mentality to the position that makes my job as Aedile so much easier. He is constantly looking for ideas and advice from the summit to help make new members feel right at home.
Then for what I will say is more important is that Corvus created a program in which a new member can make his way through the early ranks within Zirael in a relaxed and very meaningful way. He takes them under his wing and helps them to understand their Clan and the houses in their fiction and actually sense. This helps the new members learn about the Clan and the members of the Clan so they can make a educated choice on what their first real step in the Clan and the DJB will be. It is awesome to see him at work for sure.
It truly is a honor and a privilege t work with Corvus and it's even more fun interacting with him on a daily basis within the clan and working directly with him on making COU the best and the most fun Clan in the DJB.
Congratulations Corvus you definitely earned this promotion and Welcome to EQ3!

If leadership is about mentoring and tutoring, then Corvus is a great leader. If leadership is about being available and answering questions in a timely manner, then Corvus is a great leader. If good membership is about being with your fellow members and doing competitions and playing games and having fun at every level, then Corvus is a great example of that. And if being courteous and willing to help and always there for the clan are signs of true friendship, then Corvus is a dear friend.
As the one who welcomed me into DJB (alongside Turel), and who mentored me into the Zirael BTL role, Corvus has shown all of the attributes above throughout my stay here. Even though we do not converse as much now that I moved to PLA, he has been there and has been friendly throughout. He is a key member of the COU summit and the Clan and Brotherhood in general. He is an exemplary leader and member, and a kind and generous mentor and friend.
If anyone is deserving of a promotion give the above, I can think of few others. I give my dearest congratulations and thanks to Mr. Corax!

I first met Corvus - then known as Seridan - just a few months before his last promotion, when he welcomed me to Odan-Urr as my Aedile. My immediate impression was that he was kind and helpful, and every single interaction I've had with him since has reinforced that. It was his example that I tried to follow when I ended up taking on that AED position myself several months later. As Rollmaster, and before that as Zirael BTL and de facto Deputy Rollmaster, I've seen the positive influence Corvus has on Odan-Urr's newest members. But he also goes far beyond what we would normally expect of an RM. For example, just last month Corvus approached me to see if there was anything he could do to help Satele Shan's Summit, and quickly gave me some quality feedback on our in-progress wiki update.
I never really appreciated what a beast he is until the Battle Formations inter-House feud, where Corvus proved to be a top-tier competitor in both quality and quantity. This has been standard throughout his career in the Brotherhood.
Congratulations, my friend, and never change!
