In the nearly five months since his last award, Locke has accomplished a lot. Though his stepping down means that he only served as Consul three months of that time, his efforts and its effects cannot be denied. As Consul and comrade, he worked with every member of our Summit at one point or another, helping us to all better serve the Clan.
If only I could detail in greater detail the specifics of our interactions I would, but Locke was a constant in the Clan as Consul up until he stepped down recently. He has helped to shape myself as a leader, and been more than willing to give the full breadth of his knowledge and experience to those who ask.
In the last nearly five months, he has played many games of Heroes of the Storm with fellow DB'ers, taken part in a fair number of Clan-telegram trivia events, helped me as Rollmaster to brainstorm how to run and improve the former Arbiters of Sadow competitions, keeping the ship as a leader while still remaining competitive. Out of 43 competitions in which he took part, he earned a Crescent with a Diamond Star, a Crescent with an Ruby Star, seven Crescents with an Amethyst Star and four Crescents with a Sapphire Star.
His willingness to participate as part of a team has been well demonstrated in the 364 Clusters of Earth he has earned playing Heroes of the Storm over 44 PVE activities and he has taken up arms in combat with his fellows in Jedi Academy to gather a fair 25 Clusters of Fire over 6 PVP matches. He has also demonstrated his willingness to stretch his skills a bit, having earned 7 Clusters of Graphite in artistic endeavors. Showing off another of his strengths, Locke has written some 8741 words of fiction since his last recognition, bringing in an additional 23 Clusters of Ice when you also account for the 6021 words- out of 6 posts- he has written in run-ons.
Some people get worked up primarily in the number of shiny baubles we might accrue, the various accolades orthe glory to be gained from various activities, but it always seemed that Locke tried to have fun. His service was for the greater good. He kept up regular reports to keep our members in the now, a total of four, during his time as Consul. As I rack my brain, I really wish that I could illustrate things more even than what he has done before his last recognition, if only to show my appreciation for the service he has done to my Clan since before I joined the Brotherhood. The very least I can do is to present you with this small token of appreciation from myself and the rest of the Clan Summit in the form of this Grand Cross. Congratulations, Locke. I hope you will continue to shine on.
Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow

- Additional reasons
-
Since his last reward, Locke served as Consul of Naga Sadow for 3 months. His time as Consul was spent mentoring me, in preparation of replacing him. In addition to this, he helped to organise a fictional storyline, completely changed Naga Sadow's fictional backstory to bring Dlarit back in line with the Warhost and spent close to 60+ hours working on creating a fleet for Naga Sadow within Possessions, this saw over 2,000 messages passed between Locke, Malik and myself on Telegram while creating this, along with countless spreadsheets. Locke's obsession with Star Wars ships came in extremely handy to Naga Sadow, allowing us to field a well rounded fleet that will serve the Clan well into the future.
Locke has also been at the forefront of Naga Sadow's obsession with Heroes of the Storm. Taking advantage of this free game, he has enabled and encouraged members to participate and help increase Naga Sadow's gaming presence.
Despite stepping down, Locke has not faded into the background, he has continued to dominate in events, coming in 5th place in the recent New Ties co-op event with Tarentum, as well as originally helping to create it and the premise behind it before he stepped down as Consul.
Locke's dedication to Naga Sadow is extremely clear and his time spent sacrificed to the Clan and Club needs rewarding. As such, I'm pleased to recommend this Grand Cross to Locke.
Congratulations!
Consul of Naga Sadow

As Consul of Clan Naga Sadow in the first two months of 2017, Locke oversaw a period of growth and activity in his unit. Across the entire quarter, CNS moved ahead in several metrics and was overall quite strong, particularly in the number of entries to competitions, where the unit saw more than 500 competition entries in the quarter. Since his Amethyst Kukri, Locke organized 7 competitions and co-organized another 9. In addition, he initiated and started working on a co-op competition with Tarentum, and although the competition was seen to fruition by the current summit, Locke was instrumental to the early organization and planning of the event. Locke's contributions to CNS as Consul, along with his general activity, is more than deserving of this Grand Cross. Congratulations, Locke!
