I am a proud Master today. I stand here as a witness to all of the amazing work that James Malum has completed prior to his elevation to Knight. James has shown considerable enthusiasm, a great thirst for knowledge, and an eagerness to participate in every facet the Brotherhood has to offer. I look forward to seeing his continued impact on his House, Clan, and the Brotherhood as a whole as he continues to grow.

Since his last elevation, James has completed all tasks set before him for eligibility: He has organized 2 competitions, assisted the Proconsul of the Clan with a project, completed 1 Dark Side Degree (Dark Maven - Lore), received 2 major competition awards (2 Cr-E), participated in 8 competitions, passed the Leadership Competitions Shadow Academy course, passed the Leadership Management Shadow Academy course, attained Rank 4 in the Shadow Academy Society, and served 30 days as Battle Team Leader of of the Shadow Guard during its rejuvenation as Crucesignatis Imperialis.

It has been an amazing journey, my Apprentice. May you continue to soar to great heights in all that you do. Congratulations, James.

James has been a fantastic addition to Scholae Palatinae since the day he joined. We’ve been especially impressed with the range of activities of the club he participates in, having already gained leadership experience at the battleteam level, assisted the summit with projects at both house and clan level, and is a prolific taker of the courses offered by the shadow academy. In addition to this, James is a core of the Scholae Palatinae community, a contributor to discussion in the House Imperium planning group, and constantly active on the Scholae Palatinae telegram chat.

James Malum came to us only a short while ago. When members start out they usually participate in competitions and a couple SA exams and wait for more. But James is known more to the Summit than the members. He has consistently striven to participate, breaking through every promotion only by accident. Whether it's wiki work, discussion on vision, or creating graphs/competitions/fictions, James is there. And it is because of this he deserves to be there in Knighthood.
