Derek is a very valued member of Scholae Palatinae, especially in House Excidium and Tacitus Athanasius. His friendship, consistency in Telegram, encouragement to other members, and role modelling in participation never goes unnoticed. Since his last promotion in March, he has completed 66 different competitions, and co-organized 4 competitions. He also passed four courses which gained two more degrees to his name. Derek has also earned 1 SC, 1 AC, Cr:5A, Cr:6S, Cr:10E, and Cr:13T. He also gained 21 Clusters of Fire through 8 PvP matches, 9 Clusters of Ice through 1 ACC and 2939 words of fiction, 5 Clusters of Graphite, 3 Legions of the Scholar, and 5 Seals of Wrath. In the recent Great Jedi War, he earned himself his very first Silver Nova by participating in the Multimedia Competition “In a World…” with several other members of the Clan. Way to go, Derek! I think you have more than earned your new promotion… Equite 2!

Derek has maintained a consistently high level of activity over the last 9 months since his promotion to warrior. The bulk of his activity has been in his competition entry, which has been across a range of different brotherhood activities; Derek has earned clusters of fire, ice, earth and graphite. In the war he earned 5 seals of wrath, and earned a silver nova for his contribution to an excellent multimedia entry. In addition, Derek has always had an excellent community contribution, being consistently active on the clan’s telegram channel.

I am honored to award Derek Cinn for his excellent contributions since his last elevation. Once he became an Equite, he continued his outstanding individual activity and took a more prevalent role in House Excidium. He worked closely with me as Quaestor, and now Proconsul, to learn about the Brotherhood; time management, writing recommendations, writing reports, auditing activity, and a myriad of other tasks. In addition, he helped with the planning of fictional updates, house competitions, and planning for our Clan’s future. He has demonstrated a strong streak of individual activity that has been maintained over a long period of time; a true test for entrance to the rank of Equite II. I am excited to see his continued development as a producer, and future leader, as he works towards his next elevation.
