There is no one I can think of more deserving of elevation than Lucine Vasano.

In the eight months since her last promotion, she has continued her exemplary service to Arcona and the Brotherhood as a whole. During that time, she has organized ten competitions and participated in 64. In the process, she has earned herself a Topaz Crescent, four Emerald Crescents, four Sapphire Crescents, nine Amethyst Crescents, and three Ruby Crescents. She also garnered 24 Clusters of Fire, 11 Glusters of Graphite, and an impressive 89 Clusters of Ice, as well as 14 Seals of Wrath. Her sheer fiction output is equally impressive: over 25,000 words written including her Run On Posts, as well as 9 ACC Battles completed and 11 judged.

In addition to the numbers above, she was left with the unenviable task of putting Port Ol'val back together after I gleefully blew it up, and helping a new Battleteam - Voidbreaker - find its footing. She has done both brilliantly, as the House's consistent activity shows.

Most of all, though, it is her leadership that has truly shined. Since her last elevation, she has served nonstop in leadership, first as a Battleteam Leader, then as an ACC Judge, and most recently as Aedile of House Qel-Droma. It's not just her raw talent - which she has in spades. She has never shrunk from a task, and always delivers better-than-expected results in a shorter time than allotted. Those who have served for long in the Brotherhood know just how rare that is. Truly, I can't praise her enough. In February she was awarded the Grand Cross, in part for her enviable accomplishments as a Leader. I can but echo those same sentiments today. Her help organizing, proofing and revising Qel-Dromas labyrinthine wiki presence has helped out new and returning members immensely. But more than that, she's proactive with her charges. There's not a member on her roster that she doesn't reach out to and know personally. And because she knows them so well, problems are solved before they ever arise.

Lucine, I've said it before, but it truly is an honor to work with you. You're a brilliant leader, a spirited competitor, and wonderful Summiter. I look forward to the day that you put me out of work.

There is plenty I could say about Lucine that would bring to your attention the glowing individual she is, but I can assure you, anything I can say here would only be a spotlight on all that she does, not only for House Qel-Droma and Arcona, but the club as a whole. That being said, I do know how much our favorite redhead loves a spotlight, so I’ll continue. Her impressive statistics have already been discussed, but beneath that, she is a golden example of everything a leader should be. She is regularly participating in anything she can get her hands on as well as providing plenty of new content for her members. She does a tremendous job of balancing not only her job as Aedile of House Qel-Droma, but her responsibilities as an ACC judge, and her hectic life outside of the club as well. All around, Lucine is a pleasure to work with and for, and is an excellent asset to both the clan and the club.

Not only does she excell personally, she inspires others to do so as well. She is on Telegram almost constantly it seems, and every time I see her name pop up, she is encouraging someone who needs it, nudging someone in the right direction, or just being a friendly face for folks to talk to. It is always refreshing to see her scoff at a snarky remark about her character’s cooking skills (or lack thereof, really) or participate in one of the many pun-marathons that often take over Arcona chat. What I’m really trying to say here is that Lucine is an absolute delight to talk to and is always willing to listen, or laugh with you, or be a shoulder to cry on.

With all the above being said, it is my pleasure to recommend Lucine Vasano for promotion to the rank of Equite II. Congratulations, my friend. Well deserved.

It took me awhile to figure out what to write about Ms. Lucine Vasano that hasn’t already been said. I realized my lack of words were due to the fact there wasn’t many that truly capture Lucine’s dedication and effort she’s committed to the DJB. There’s an honest and deep passion in her to aid in the wellbeing of the House, of the Clan, and hell, even the Club in its entirety. Lucine always holds the best interest of the members with every decision or suggestion she makes and would fight tooth and nail for it. A good pedicure was worth ruining in their name. She’s one of the first people to greet new joins and makes it her duty to settle them in. Always open to all of her fellow members, from talking, taking suggestions, and more, Lucine keeps close relations with them. She nurtures by example the type of community we need to coexist with our multitude of personalities. Lucine embodies excellency.

Working with her the last few months when she was both Battleteam Leader and Aedile, I have been honestly both intimidated and deeply inspired by her work ethic. It is truly one to aspire to follow. Lucine keeps up to date on the members activity routinely, prodding and pushing for them to participate in events going on or in fellow teammates’ competitions. She’s contributed heavily in the working direction of the House, leading to a large amount of it building off of her ideas. There’s been a number of other activities she’s accomplished but they all point back to her dedication to the Brotherhood.

I couldn’t be more pleased to see Lucine Vasano promoted to Equite II. It has been more than well deserved. Continue rocking the galaxy, Lucine, in a stellar outfit and matching heels. I look forward to where the stars take you. Congratulations, Sisprentice! <3

Lucine is one of two members of my ACC staff that I would consider "senior". This comes not only from her experience — both in participation and tenure — but also from her willingness to take the lead. Since her last promotion, she has shown this by judging 11 ACC matches and upholding the standards of our office. She is clear and encouraging, not dwelling so much on the negatives, but rather how to improve. At the same time, she found enough will to participate in and finish 9 matches of her own.

But it isn't just the visible work I wish to recognize Lucine for. It's the mentorship role she has assumed within my staff. It's not easy to be relatively new yourself and then have not one but three new staff members onboard at the same time. She didn't hesitate when asked to help guide them, pairing up for judgements and providing oversight when I couldn't. In fact, she excelled at this and helped get our team up to speed in a rather short amount of time.

Every time it looks like life is going to get in the way, Lucine finds a way to persevere. Not only that, she manages to succeed. For this I'd like to thank Lucine, and gladly append my recommendation for promotion. Well earned, and just one more step towards your goals.
