In the month that I have been the Quaestor of House Galeres, Karran Val'teo has been steadily packing my inbox full of his accomplishments and studies in the Shadow Academy. So much as of late that I think the people at Google had to get a tamper to jam the last few of them into my inbox.

Since his elevation to Hunter on the 13th of May, Karran has been tearing through courses and has padded his impressive total with a further nine courses passed, which earned him the Dark Maven - Combat degree and elevated his status by two ranks. At the same time, he has competed in fifteen competitions and managed to place in two of them, earning himself a Crescent with a Sapphire Star as well as another with a Topaz Star. Somehow, on top of all this, he was also able to squeeze in two ACC battles that, when combined with his other writing activities, earned him nine Clusters of Ice and an elevation to rank three in the Inquisitorious.

I may have only been back with Arcona for a quarter of the time that Karran Val'teo has been with the Clan, but he has proven himself to be a valued member of our ranks that I will be watching with great interest. The Hunter has completed his eleven required tasks and proven himself worthy. With that being said, it is my honor to recommend him for promotion to the rank of Knight. Congratulations!

Karran has been a wonderful apprentice to have during the short time that I had before he arrived at this point. At the very first, he was an information sponge, and he took in anything and everything about the club, be it administrative nuances or character backgrounds and fictional histories. He was neither shy of participation. Outside of all the statistics, he's been a regular in Telegram, participating in normal discussions as avidly as the House and Battleteam roleplay sessions.

By and large, I've enjoyed his company and seeing what he's done thus far. With a drive like his — strong but tempered and patient — he has excellent potential not just in leadership in the Brotherhood; he could do many great things. The master has no intention of letting the pupil surpass her though. So Knight Karran best keep working hard. I believe in him.
