I would like to award Sato a Grand Cross for being such a kick ass Aedile and Envoy! If I go missing in action someday, nobody would notice it. Hes been doing a great work in creating competitions, awarding members and communicating with them that he makes me look obsolete. His work as an Envoy to house Gladius was also fantastic, he improved the promotion rate so much that for a good portion of time we didnt have any Apprentices and the JHs/GRDs/PRTs greatly outnumbered the ACOs/NOVs/APPs. He was a guide for the young members, most of them would recognize Sato as their key to understanding the DB. His work for the house and clan is greatly appreciated and totally deserving of this medal. I will let Welsh take it from here.
The definition of the Grand Cross state that it should be awarded for "Service to one's Clan in areas meant to encourage competition and interaction between members. Such areas include competition creation, IRC, message boards and websites." It is my opinion, along with many others that Sato fulfils all these roles and more in his current position as Aedile of House Gladius. His reports are friendly and easy to read, his manner on IRC is easy going and always encouraging whilst his imagination can be witnessed in his many innovative competitions.
His helpful demeanor however does not stop at his Aedile duties. Until recently Sato was the envoy for House Gladius, a job which put him in constant contact with newer members. A hard job encouraging them to become active and take part in the activities which define us as Clansmen. Recently I have been privy to Advancement Survey responses and the submissions received from Gladius members have stood Sato in a good light.
Sato, you are more then deserving of this reward. Congratulations.
