Someone once called an EQ1 promotion "a test of continued activity past the Knight milestone", and Dasha "Jala" Talus has easily passed. First, numbers: Since her promotion to JM4 in June, Jala has participated in 29 competitions, including completing fifteen GJW XIV events across every bin. In early August, she was awarded a Dark Cross for her activity in the GJW. She also participated heavily in the Pro Bowl cross-Clan event in August.

Besides her competition activity, Jala has completed 11 Shadow Academy courses, earning two degrees in the process. She's also participated in a co-operative fiction with Appius (which you can read over on the Discourse forums), recently begun another with a different Ektrosis member, and has been a regular presence in Taldryan's Telegram chat (most often partnering up with Aylin to make trouble for Appius).

In light of her continued activity over the past almost-six months, I hereby nominate Dasha "Jala" Talus for promotion to Major. Congratulations!

Dasha is one of those People that just encompasses what it means not just to be a member of Clan Taldryan, but a member of the Brotherhood.

Erinyes has already covered most of her achievements, so I'll go more in detail about her accomplishments from the perspective of her Quaestor and her Master.

Firstly, her activity. Taldryan's favourite little glitter bomb has not stopped since her promotion to Captain at the end of the last war. She's proven herself to be an active member of the House both in the Ektrosis House Chat, where she always maintains a presence, and continues this across the various DB channels.

She has participated in 29 different competitions and has written just shy of 7000 words! This gets even more impressive when you consider that she has just become a new mum not too long ago!

Dasha is always up for writing fiction, as evidenced by the run on she wrote with myself which as Erin said, can be viewed on discourse. She has also begun working on another fiction project with another member of the House which is currently under development.

As your Master, your Quaestor, and your friend, I am proud to recommend your promotion to EQ1! And I dread what you may do with this newfound power!
