In the fourteen months since his promotion to Equite 4, Korvis has shown he is rearing and ready to go as an Elder. Two Ruby Scepters in that time, numerous competitions both ran and participated in, numerous booster releases and other contributions under his belt on the Regent Staff, proposals to the DC, running the ProBowl beside his fellow Consuls, pushing and leading his clan to 4th place overall in the Great Jedi War, and the way he conducts himself every single day in any chat: we're all members in the same club. You do good things and you contribute, you get praise no matter who you are.
I've watched Korvis extend his retirement timeline more than once now because of extenuating circumstances. He consistently and actively continues to put his clan above his own needs. And it's not like he just sits there. He's actively working on the stuff he needs to instead of letting his clan falter and languish, while continuing to serve in an unbiased and consistent manner on my staff. Korvis has the qualities we seek in our Elders, and the work ethic to back it up. Like, Bubba thought (sorry Bubba) he was already an Elder. That's how much Korvis continues to contribute.
Well done, Korvis. Congratulations!

The other recommenders will handle the stats, but it’s worth noting that Korvis is a machine. 95 competitions organized or co-organized, 200+ competitions participate in, activity across nearly every aspect of DB activity, and a year as a Consul?
Not too shabby.
Korvis is exactly what we look for in our leaders and Elders. Active across the club, cool and calm in leadership, and a positive force for our members.
This promotion is well deserved and I’m happy to be a part of the recommending team!
Congrats Korvis!

In the year since his promotion to EQ4, Korvis has kept Vizsla on track despite headwinds including the turnover of two different PCONs. He organized 80 competitions, among them several Pro Bowl comps and a Great Hunt, and participated in an impressive 181 comps. He's won dozens of crescents and novae, hundreds of clusters, and made himself a regular in the club's RP scene both as a DM and as a participant.
Beyond all of that, Korvis has shown real dedication to his clan and the club as a whole. He's a role model for newer members and vets alike. And now he's an Elder. Congratulation!

I can’t say enough good things about Korvy - he’s someone who has held my respect for as long as I’ve know him. He is a great communicator, a stable leader, a calming presence, and someone who leads by example as well. We have had many chats throughout his time as CON and he always has sound reasons for his decisions and is careful to make sure that he’s well-grounded for them. I appreciate his openness with members, with his philosophy of transparency serving the clan well as well.
All that is to say - Korvis is a terrific leader and this promotion is so well-deserved! Congrats!

Being Consul of Vizsla puts Korvis in the unenviable position of being the primary caretaker for something I had a hand in crafting. That means I'm watching a little closer than he might like. But, to his credit, he never had to find out! That's because Korvis has taken to his role in the Brotherhood with a passion to do right by his members. That's something I love to see in any Consul, regardless of where they are positioned. Because the members are the only thing that keeps this place going...but the people looking after the members are also, well, members themselves.
And it is my distinct pleasure to be recognizing Korvis as the member he is. He doesn't make a lot of waves, trying to share his opinion but not clashing with others. He's responsive and active. Surprisingly so. Not to be confused with "The Machine" from comedy fame, Korvis stands as a machine all his own. His hard work and dedication should be rewarded in the only way we know how: shinies and, in this case, promotions.
So, lets make it rain on Korvis, because at the end of they day...it's Credits not Words.
Congratulations.
