Primary reason

Where to start with this guy? Rulvak, or as most everyone knows him, “Warp,” has become a pillar of the gaming community—a workhorse in every Clan he’s been a part of, always open and willing to ensure that anyone who wants to earn clusters has the opportunity to do so. Since his last promotion, he has participated in 274 competitions and 254 gaming activities, earning Vizsla 1,946,900 credits.

During this time, he has earned 1 Emerald Dagger, 23 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 46 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 61 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 49 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 13 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 9 Crescents with Topaz Stars, and 3 Crescents with Quartz Stars. In addition, he has accumulated 5,964 Clusters of Fire, 1 Cluster of Ice, and 46 Clusters of Graphite.

These accomplishments alone highlight Warp’s incredible impact, but they barely scratch the surface of the feedback and contributions he’s provided to me as Consul and Proconsul of Vizsla. He has helped shape fiction, brought forth new ideas, reviewed documents, and remained an outspoken gaming community member, offering valuable feedback at every level of the Club’s operations.

Thank you, truly, for nearly ten years of friendship, gaming, and your invaluable contribution to the Brotherhood. Congratulations on your promotion to Elder 2—an incredible milestone you have undoubtedly earned.

Additional reasons

Warp isn't just among the pinnacle of gaming within the club, I would hazard to say he embodies it. Always willing to hop into games and group up. That's a standard to be held within one of the pillars of activity this group upholds. It's not just crafting stories and tossing memes, there's a human element to it. A community. Gaming is all about community.

Warp is a driving force for that community. He's personable, skilled, and dedicated to his craft. It's hard to look at any gaming competition and not think that he'll be a top contender. He's also one of the first to see you're doing something and pop up with a "hey, want some company?"

That's worth celebrating. After all, what is a club without its members? Making members feel included and perpetuating the fun of games only helps that. That's what Warp does.

Warp joined our club and changed the way everyone views the pinnacle of gaming. He set a new standard for activities, consistency, and community building. Warp’s skill at every game he plays is secondary to the team aspect he has brought to our club. He is always willing to help a member learn a new game, level a new character, or excel at a game’s most difficult content.

Many of us have advocated for years that Warp’s activity was more than just a guy who is good at gaming. He is a guy who makes our Clan and Club a better place through the best parts of gaming - teamwork, friendship, and community.

I will always sing the praises of XP because it makes a promotion like this possible. Warp deserves this elevation under this system (and any system).

Congratulations Warp!

When I first introduced Warp to the DJB, I wasn't really sure how far he'd go in it. Initially, it was just another place to game and find other people to game with. I feel the completionist mentality of Warp motivated him to try out all the other methods of activity and community that is the DB at large. Fast forward years later and Warp has surpassed me in the ranks and accolades the club has to offer. He isn't one to shy away at offering his assistance, insight and/or expertise in not only gaming, but fiction, graphics and the overall betterment of the club's community. He says it how it is and how it needs to be said. Warp leads by example and offers for others to join along with him whenever possible.

In just a short amount of time since his last promotion, Warp has absolutely decimated the XP requirements for the next rank. Casually. I'd be proud to see Warp achieve Elder 2 and more. Congratulations, Warp. Don't slow down, though. There's always more credits to grind.
