Yesterday she reached eligibility for her Dark Cross, today, she kicks the doors of my office open with her Anteian Cross. It seems Odan-Urr has a new rising star and her name is Syrena, or as some of us have known her for a while now, Kav. This young woman blazed her way into the Brotherhood and made a bee-line (and I mean bee-line, winding, stopping to smell all the beautiful flowers, and collecting bits and credits from each one of them) through our Club and its various societies. Alighting her first day amongst the Shroud Syndicate and throwing down art for the Darktober art series, she then immediately jumped to see what the Exarch's Society is about by getting into some of Odan-Urr's ongoing Roleplay Storylines, joining into both our Wartime tales and our PCON's Slice of Life Beach Vacation, throwing down the Shadow Academy and ripping and roaring through the courses. Her meteoric treatment of the Brotherhood, welcoming demeanor, and desire to be part of more and more has only sparked what I feel is the beginning of a much longer, and prestigious, Brotherhood career.

When I look at Syrena (Kav), I see myself when I first joined in Feb of last year. This woman has bull rushed the Brotherhood with her infectious passion, bright personality, and her love of learning. From the moment she appeared in the club she has inhaled everything she can get her hands on. Competing in a competition on her first day? No problem. Tackling the entirety of the Beginner's section of the Shadow Academy in the span of a few days? Sure, why not. I am nothing short of amazed.
I could not have gotten a better student. I am honored to watch her rapid growth. She has taken her career here by the horns with renewed fire and drive. I hope the Brotherhood becomes as healing as it was for me when I emerged from the ashes of a several year long creative block. I cannot wait to see all the amazing things she will make during her time here.
Congratulations, my student. We are all in awe of you. Here's to this and many many many more awards in your future.

Has it really only been a day? Kav is on a roll, and so far, has been a solid participant in Hoth's own House RP. Additionally, she passed another four Shadow Academy courses and has definitely found a home in Hoth. I am glad to have her in the House and look forward to what she does next.
