Sacramental Weapons are a tradition within the Brotherhood. Beyond Campaign Seals, Clusters and Crescents for battlefield victories, and above the vaunted Crosses for prolonged effort, Sacramental Weapons rise above by an order of magnitude. Granted for exceptional and long term dedication, these weapons are a mark of distinction among those who carry them, and a matter of envy for those who do not.

The first of these weapons in any member’s career is the Sapphire Blade. Yet another entry in the list of things that we have taken inspiration from Ancient Rome from, the weapon is patterned after the Gladius. It is also one of the highest awards possibly awarded by a member’s Clan.

Veil Arcana has made himself worthy of such a weapon, his efforts all but demanding that we acknowledge him with one. Fifty Eight tests of will, a raft of clusters and crescents, and over a quarter million credits deposited into the clan’s coffers as a result, Veil has kept himself quite busy. In honor of his work, in appreciation of his efforts, and in the hopes that he shall continue to humble his enemies with his victories, I am happy to recommend that Veil Arcana be awarded his first Sapphire Blade.
