Masahiro, or Wolfe as he is known to most, has been a force of nature in Odan-Urr. As Fist I got to see him provide structure and leadership support to drive gaming activity within COU in ways few unit leaders had. While COU no longer has a summit member dedicated to gaming activity, it still remains something Wolfe and the summit emphasize and provide a steady stream of content for.
Once I stepped down from the council and returned home to COU I got to see Wolfe’s vision for the clan firsthand. I joke about tormenting Wolfe as my retirement hobby but he has been nothing but welcoming, engaging and affirming to all members young and old. It is an intimidating tightrope to take an established lore and culture like Odan-Urr and take it in a fresh new direction but Wolfe makes it look easy. From the old opinionated cane wavers to the new joins full of energy, Wolfe has united us all with a clear vision for the clan.
The summit operates like clockwork with consistent reports and engaging content. Young leaders are fostered and given a chance to shine while old talent is given new purpose. All this doesn’t happen by accident and is a testament to Wolfe’s strong leadership as much as the efforts of the individual summiters.
On behalf of the membership of Odan-Urr, thank you for all that you do and enjoy this well deserved promotion.

Masahiro was initially a new face to me when I returned from hiatus. We formally met when I applied for a position in the Clan and my experience with him since then has been increasingly positive.
Masahiro has an overall positive attitude, sure, but that's not his primary strength. His primary strength is his attitude as a leader. He gives enough room for his Quaestors and BTLs to develop, engage with the membership, and create the kind of content the Clan requires, while also being there to support with advice or with hands-on management should his subordinates be overwhelmed. He is a constant presence in chat (Summit and otherwise) and he seems to genuinely enjoy Club leadership. As a Quaestor at the time of writing this recc, I can say from personal experience that Masahiro has had a positive and refreshing influence on COU, on the Summit and on me personally.
As someone with experience in the lowest and highest echelons of leadership in the Club, I can truthfully say Masahiro is a great Consul, and I hope to see him in Council positions in the future, should that be one of his interests.
Congratulations on the promotion, it is well earned and overdue. Elder is right around the corner.

"Leaders are made, not born. You learn to become a leader by doing what other excellent leaders have done before you. You become proficient in your job or skill, and then you become proficient at understanding the motivations and behaviors of other people."
I have worked beside Wolfe in leadership for many many years, across many sites. He is always a steadfast constant and a voice of calm reasoning wherever he goes. The Brotherhood is no different-- Wolfe stepped into leadership here just as naturally as he stepped into it many other places. Though he might have stumbled a bit at first, he quickly hit his stride and hasn't looked back.
Even when I was in Arcona, Wolfe's love for his clan was apparent. I've watched as he has poured in countless, sleepless hours trying to drag his home from the depths. Odan-Urr was where he got his first taste of the Brotherhood and he felt a sense of responsibility to help the place that helped him when he was in a hard spot.
The joy in his face when COU not only met, but exceeded, the expectations set by the council made it all that more clear that Wolfe loves what he does. He loves uplifting others, and helping them find confidence and comfort wherever they may lack it.
He's built a stellar team for his clan summit, and continues to help them excel at what they do. And he's recruiting like a madman on top of it all! He's recruited and caused so many people to stay in the Brotherhood that the Emissary staff had to adjust their statistics because of his impact.
I can't wait to see this unstoppable man do more and more. To Elder and beyond-- maybe even to the council.
