What can I say about Manji that many haven't already passed over? During my time in the Brotherhood, Manji had been my Consul and had done an excellent job keeping the Clan in excellent shape and a friendly nurturing environment for any new members. Manji's performance and dedication to the Clan ran rampant during his tenure as he repeatedly released competitions and ensure the activity within his Clan even while trying to compete his Masters. His dedication even proved to shock me when he put all his focus, time and efforts into ensuring Naga Sadow performed admirably in the Spoils of War, going so far as to lead our Clan to a Third Place victory in the Brotherhood. For his almost insane amount of dedication while completing his Masters, excellent duty as a Consul and leader to the people of Clan Naga Sadow and his exceptional efforts at helping the Clan achieve Third in the Rite of Supremacy; I recommend Manji to receive this merit. - Methyas Arcturi L'eonheart
When asked to write this recce I was a bit hesitant, not because I didn't think he didn't deserve this award but because I didn't know what to say. Manji is a wonderful person and a fabulous leader. He worked hard as Consul of Clan Naga Sadow to keep the clan engaged through whatever it took. A few months back he took the time to look over my writing and give me tips to improve on. There aren't many people who are willing to do that and to do so quickly. I fully support Manji getting this award, he's earned it. He's a superb person and a good friend. -Teu Veld
Manji is by far one of my favorite members of the Brotherhood. He has done an incredible amount of work - quality work that has made everything he has led noticeably better. For a long time he has been a part of the Shadow Academy, always grading membersâ quizzes quickly and writing interesting courses. On top of that, he was an amazing Consul to Naga Sadow for a long time. He is a fair person, always looking to help other people any way he can. Every time I came up to him with a problem or question he always focused on helping me immediately. When it came to trying to make the clan better, Manji always seeked out input from as many members as he could, always listened to their ideas and concerns, and was able to put them all together cohesively and make the clan better than before. One can only hope become half of what Manji is, and that is why I believe he is deserving of a Ruby Scepter. For all that he has done and continues to do, he deserves the award. - Ekeia Iclo, P:DGM
Manji.. The man behind everything in CNS, a lot of the ACC, and the Shadow Academy's History program. I can't begin to explain how much of a mentor he has been to me personally. When Zaxen stepped down as Aedile of HMR, I was appointed to become his successor. More than likely every day I would ask Manji, "Am I doing this right? Should I be doing it this way?" His answers were always, "You're doing just fine." When I stepped into the Quaestor position, Manji had told me that he was monitoring me, making sure things where done right. And he did just that. Up until he stepped down as Consul, I was always asking him about different ways of doing things, and without a doubt in his mind he would support me or teach me how to do something. But putting that all aside, Manji has been a great leader to us all. He earned the respect of the members of the clan, and over the past 10 months made a serious push to make CNS the awesomeness that it is. He saw to it that the CNS website would go through a serious change, where it would be a holocron of information that different levels of access would be given different ranks. He pushed his clan through the Rite of Supremacy, helping us earn 3rd place in all the clans, something that hadn't happen in over a year. And despite all of this, he was a major addition to the Shadow Academy, creating and editing the different history courses that are there. He pushed the DB History course, and penned the DB History course part 2 not too long ago. He constantly would be grading each test that would be sent to him, and I only saw a fraction of the amount of tests he graded because it was one house out of about 15 houses, and even then it was a lot. On top of all of that, he was an ACC operator, always getting challenges for training matches, or qualification matches, or just regular combat center matches against anyone and everyone in the DB. I can't fathom how many training and qualifying matches he had to write, and how many matches he had to grade and teach new members the ways of the ACC. With this recommendation I fully support Manji, my Consul, my mentor, and above all else my friend, to earn a Ruby Scepter. Congrats Manji! ~Fremoc Pepoi, M:FIST
Manji Keibatsu Sadow was one of the first people I met in the Brotherhood five years ago when he was a Quaestor and Envoy. Since then I have always known him as a friendly helpful member and leader who has always had a natural ability to get on with other members with a calm, patient and authoritative manner, a passion for the Brotherhood's activities and a commitment to the future of the Brotherhood by helping new members become future leaders. I think for that he deserves the Ruby Sceptre, as well as working in leadership positions around developing new members and activities in this Clan for them he has worked in the Sadow Academy for a considerable length of time and has also had many of his past students go onto leadership positions in the Clan and in the wider Brotherhood. He is one of the Brotherhood's recognizable mentor's and is fully deserving of a Ruby Sceptre. - Malisane Sadow, RM of HNS
Manji has done more than the lion's share (no pun intended) of work required to garner a Ruby Scepter. In what will surely be remembered as one of the most interesting periods of HNS' history, Manji ably stepped up to the leadership plate at a time when our beloved House experienced a mass exodus of arguably some of the most influential members our House had, and pulled us from the brink of mediocrity. His clear head and infectious energy spurred us to a respectable third place finish in the Spoils of War Vendetta, and he inspired not only myself, but other relatively new members to seek leadership roles within the House, so as to emulate his shining example as Consul. Without members cut from the same cloth as he, this Club would surely falter at the first sign of difficulty. Manji, thank you for quickening not only the younger members who were fortunate enough to witness your reign, but me as well: without your support, I for one may not have been long for both the Club and House. Thank you for reminding me what it is to be a leader, and for what we all should be here for. I hope that you see this award for what it is supposed to represent: our undying thanks, which, in my estimation, will never be enough for all that you have done for us, your brethren. Congratulations, Nekura-sama! - Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow, AED of HNS
Manji. If you don't know his name in the DB, you must be living under a rock. My first Master... Manji is one of those superstars within the DB. Although he works hard across the board, he never toots his own horn. Humility is just one of his many great aspects. His service in the Brotherhood extends across many areas. His work in the ACC is long-standing as an Operator, and enormous in scope if you consider it over time. Just how many battles has he fought in that trained people? Or judged? Or fought because someone challenged him in order to better their own skills? You'd have a hard time counting them all. I couldn't do it. His service in the SA is often overlooked- and it shouldn't be. Besides working grading many tests, his overhaul of the DB history course and creation of the DB History II is good service. His service as Consul was impeccable, leading his Clan to a hard won and closely fought 3rd. His leadership in helping our club members grow in every area he touches has (and continues to be) a huge boon to our entire group. The Ruby Scepter is for service across the entire DB. Manji has certainly done just that, quietly, for a long time. It is time his efforts were recognized officially. I fully support Manji being awarded the Ruby Scepter. ~Macron Sadow, HNS Quaestor
I was Manji's right hand man for over six months. A time of my DB career I wish I could have explored longer. The RoS was a huge victory for Naga Sadow, though I'll let my former clansmen above speak for his clan work. For over a year, Manji has been the Professor of General History in the Shadow Academy, and one of my closest advisers. Professors often times get over looked for their jobs of grading, but I would like to bring some attention to one of my top Professors. A Professor doesn't just look at an answer sheet and mindlessly grade exam after exam (at least I train them not to). But rather an individual who is dedicated to excellence and knowledge when training our members. Manji came to me a year ago, wanting to write the DB History course. A History major (going for his Masters) in real life, Manji wasn't hard to place in the position. On top of grading his usual 4 exams, he took it upon himself to delve into the rich history of our club and bring it to the Academy when new vigor. Just recently, he penned the DB History 2 course, which is slated for release later this summer. On top of all of this, he temporarily took over grading for all of the Clan History exams, bringing his total number of exams under his control to almost 10. For being one of my greatest friends, and for being a great asset to the Shadow Academy, I'm recommending that this Ruby Scepter be awarded to Manji Keibatsu Sadow. Congratulations. ~Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Headmaster of the Brotherhood
