Nikola Valtiere stepped into the position of Battle Team Leader for Void Squadron only days before the first round of the Dark Crusade kicked off. Despite having only a short amount of time to prepare and still learning the dynamics of being on the Arcona Summit he rose to each challenge he was met with in the coming weeks. Nikola set the example for his Battle Team, participating in four of the six events which were run during this phase. He submitted entries for the Ancient Stones Fiction, The Hunt Graphics Competition, completed the Cryptology SA Course with a score of 95, and assisted the Wiki Team Arcownage in securing second place.

However, not content to only participate during the Dark Crusade Events Nikola also completed both the Leadership Studies and Leadership Fundamentals Shadow Academy Courses to continue developing his skills and abilities as a Battle Team Leader. It is important to mention that Nikola completed these courses while at the same time competing in the Dark Crusade! In addition to this self development he recently participated in The Dark Crusade Prologue Run On, earning two Clusters of Ice.

Nikola has set the standard for how to be an exemplary Journeyman member. Showing not only the drive to see his Clan succeed in a competitive Brotherhood wide competition, but also the self awareness and time management to seek out additional knowledge from the Shadow Academy to ensure success as an individual. For all of the versatility and promise of great things to come, I am proud to award Nikola Valtiere for a Steel Cross.
