Knight Werdna Elbee transferred to House Dinaari and ascended to the position of Aedile on January 24, 2006. Werdna's transfer sparked a lot of skepticism (and silent criticism) on the part of the more established House Dinaari membership. After all, were there no qualified leaders in Dinaari? Why did we need help from Ektrosis? This is a common sense of independence within Dinaari.
I stand today to voice my support. Let me be the first person to publicly endorse the legitimacy of Werdna as Aedile. Today, let me state firmly that he has been and continues to be a valued, pillar of support for the welfare of House Dinaari of Clan Taldryan.
As House Envoy, I went into my job with a lot of enthusiasm. Reform was on my mind and had been for several months. I knew what I wanted to see changed. Just as the first draft of the document the Dinaari Standard was released, Werdna entered the Dinaari Summit. While he and I had roughly the same goals, Werdna and I disagreed on several of the finer points of the proposed changes. However, Werdna remained supportive as a more final version of the document was formed and never hesitated to throw his hat into the discussion. I appreciated the criticism and his vocal presence on the issue of the House Dinaari promotion system.
Werdna is an excellent collaborator with the Society of Envoys. To this day, Werdna is the only person besides myself who has taken the initiative to transform the Dinaari Standard from a theory into a plan of action. He has written roughly 10 e-mails to new members describing current competitions in which they can participate. He has helped develop and direct at least 6 House Summit tasks (and trials) for Protectors, Guardians, and Jedi Hunters of Dinaari as part of the guidelines developed in the Dinaari Standard. This is just to mention his efforts in coordinating House Summit activities with the House Envoy in membership training and development. This doesnt even mention the role he played during my leave of absence, sending the day-to-day e-mails I often sent to members immediately upon joining.
Werdna Elbee is a good Aedile. As Aedile, Werdna has written 4 full-fledged Aedile reports. However, there is a different between writing a report and writing a GOOD report. Werdnas reports contain several key components. He includes a short summary of major news in the DB, Clan, or House. He publicly summarizes the activity of each member of the House. He describes each activity in which members of the House can participate. Furthermore, when the report becomes to large, he astutely divides it into two e-mails to be more digestible to the membership. He always writes an interesting situation report at the beginning of each of his reports. He welcomes and recognizes members in his reports and emphasizes the importance of activity. However, one of the greater tests of his ability came recently when our former Quaestor had to step out of the scene due to RL troubles. Werdna acted as a responsible #2 and took over his duties, covering all of the administrative duties of all of House Dinaari. This is an impressive feat all on its own. Werdna writes emails to the House list reminding members about competitions and giving them updates on a wide variety of topics including latest news and changes in the status and availability of certain House leaders.
Werdna Elbee is a friend. Our collaboration on a number of different Envoy and House-related topics has cultivated a mutual respect for each others talents and capabilities. I can comfortably discuss just about anything with Werdna, and he always has something interesting to say.
Overall, I have come to deeply respect the head Werdna has on his shoulders. He doesnt really think or talk as a Dark Jedi Knight. This leads me to believe that a promotion is very appropriate for his service to House Dinaari. Today, we have assembled a very interesting House Summit perhaps one of the most diverse and capable in the Dark Brotherhood. I look forward to the teamwork and cooperation which will develop now and how Werdna will continue to serve as Aedile of House Dinaari. Thanks for your work, Werdna. We wouldnt be where we are without you.

For over a month and a half, Werdna Elbee has been a pillar of House Dinaari. His ascent to Aedile was taken with some skepticism, but eventually his enthusiasm and drive were able to shine. His tenure has had a rocky start, the QUA who appointed him had to leave due to RL complications and Werdna stepped in courageously and selflessly. In that period of time, Werdna has earned numerous medals and participated in countless competitions, all while leading the House in the absence of a Quaestor and with no previous experience.
Werdna is exactly the type of member I want as an Aedile and sets an example for us all to follow. Without his guidance and support, House Dinaari would be in shambles today. Thank you for all your work Werdna!

Jive and Pyralis sent this up to me over a week ago. I meant to get it done that night, wanted to add something nice and long on to compliment all the good things about Werdna. With all the crap I had going on this just got pushed back, yes I suck. Looking at this again there isn't much else I can say since Pyralis covered it so well. Werdna, you've been a tremendous member since coming back to Taldryan and a powerhouse of activity in Dinaari. We all appreciate your passion, your enthusiasm, your support, and your friendship. Please accept this promotion that is overdue. You've earned it, congrats!
