This promotion is made on my authority at the request and recommendation of Halcyon

Denath Ciarus has had many names since he was last promoted, at least 2 other by my count. However, what has stayed constant during that entire time was his devotion to Arcona, and his continued efforts in preserving both the Clan and the Clan’s history.

I had meant to award Denath for his work after having been given the position of Consul once more, but it slipped my mind until this member had to go away once more due to real life. In the past year alone, he has been a Tetrarch, Quaestor and Consul within Arcona. As Tetrarch, Denath rebuilt the Dark Orb Phyle, making it a prominent force once more. He then took over as Quaestor of Qel-Droma, leading one of the first, if not the first, multi-order house. Having slowly built up a reputation in Qel-Droma, he was given the reigns of the Clan itself, during a time of great turmoil and dysfuntion, various members of the Clan becoming selfish and looking out for their own needs. Although only Consul for a few months, he managed to hold the Clan together against such forces, ensuring that Arcona continued forward.

His greatest efforts however have been in keeping Arcona’s history “alive”, specifically in the form of a website he created and maintained: http://members.optusnet.com.au/cjwescott/legacy This site contains a boon of information on Arcona’s past, much of it having been previously lost. He is the only person who has actively sought out this information and brought it together by his own volition.

I have thought hard about just was specific award I wish to present to Denath for all of his hard work and service over the years. He has always given of himself, and when he can, helps out in any way possible. I know he will return to Arcona again when he can, and once again dive into any work that is asked of him. As such, for his continued efforts and dedication, I believe this elevation is appropriate.
