Elevation Request: Sith Battlemaster SW Thran Occasus (5101)

I have the distinct honor and privilege to advance a talented Sith disciple within the Equite Class - a member whom has proven his loyalty, talented leadership and masterful skills as a diplomat - Today, I have the ability to recognize his efforts and help him graduate within the infrastructure of the Dark Brotherhood to the level of Battlemaster.

Thran Occasus, as a source of activity, has accrued several awards. He has won two Legions of the Scholar, proving his Star Wars & Brotherhood knowledge, four crescents (Amethyst x2, Sapphire, Quartz), ten clusters of fire (a hard feat for a writer!), a Star of Antei (for participation in the CSP Feud) and the vaunted Seal of Loyalty - for true dedication to the continued success and mission of the club.

Most importantly, Thran has been a role model and leader since his last promotion nine months ago. Most recently he has served in the post as Aedile of Caliburnus, helping advance the cause of the House through the Feud - leading to an impeccable, yet astonishing, tie - by having a heavy hand in the House's direction as a unit. Then, as the contest closed, Thran assumed the vacant position of Quaestor Now, as the pillar within the traditionally Sith House, he has begun to reinforce their confidence and fictional tomes of knowledge. Rarely have I seen someone with so much enthusiasm and dedication to breath life into a House. Already he has assumed the task of creating the fictional blade (graphic, description, history), organizing the epic run-on (mandated by the GM & DGM for the artifact), redrafting the house details (History, Motto, Graphic, etc) in addition to the standard duties a QUA is placed with (Weekly reports, competition creation, stimulation of current members, mentorship of new members).

But his work as a Leader is not the only evidence I provide for his ascension within the Equite Class, because alone it would not be enough. As a Clansmen, Thran Occasus has provided the Clan with countless documents to help inspire and drive the fictional advancement of the Clan. Already he had created a 15 page document for the Clan Menagerie, he has exceeded expectations and drafted a second set of animals (an additional 16 pages!) and created a Battle Team Handbook; in addition to his participation in the BT reform discussion between the Clan Leaders. And he maintains lofty goals - he is already hard at work creating an in-character discussion night for the Clan... so that we may not lose sight of what makes this club unique - our individual characters and personalities.

Truly, this is a member that strengthens and emboldens the Brotherhood. Continually, I am shocked and awed by his presence... humor... leadership... and other strong qualities that confirm him as a unique asset unto us. And we graciously hold up his personal achievements as evidence for his advancement, but we ask that his charisma and personal skills be considered as a large part of why this member deserves elevation. Because without Thran, Scholae Palatinae would not be the Clan it is today.
