While perhaps not the most common method of promotion to Novice, Drichar has shown an immediate interest in the Brotherhood and its activities. Almost immediately after I received the notice of his transfer to the clan, I receive a notice of his passing of History of the Sith Empire I.

Such quick results show promise. For both his passing of the exam and the effort that he showed in completing it so soon, I believe Drichar should be promoted to Novice.
