Elevation to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight is no small task, as it is the pivotal and most dynamic rank in our club. With this rank, a member is issued the privilege to carry the most fascinating weapon of a Jedi: the lightsaber. And it is my honor, on this day, to present Xathia with her very own.
Since attaining Jedi Hunter, Xathia has been a whirlwind of activity on both House and Clan level. It is her eagerness, willingness and sheer drive to succeed that put her ahead of many other members of the House.
Xathia is an exemplary writer, which is not just shown in her ACC activity, during her time in the Brotherhood so far; she has accumulated 15 wins in 17 battles, of which 7 were in the period after her ascension to Jedi Hunter. More then capable as a combatant, Xathia is also actively helping the next generation of combatants step up, as a Trainer on the ACC staff, and her more then frequent help in guiding the sometimes confused Journeymen through the mechanics of the Combat Center.
Her writing also takes the role of not only good fiction writing, but a very good knowledge of Run-Ons as well, having completed her Masters Lightsaber Run-on (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4860&st=20)
as well as creating a House Run-on (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4958)
In terms of competitions she is literally bristling with activity, participating in a total 15 competitions on all levels of the Clan, she has managed to get 8 crescents (1 Amethyst, 2 Emerald, 2 Topaz, and 3 Quartz) and 2 Dark Crosses for her participation.
Not just an active writer, she is also a very successful Shadow Academy student, having done a total of 8 courses in her time as Jedi Hunter, and receiving no scores below 90 on her exams.
Her work doesnt just extend to Competitions, behind the scenes she is a very active persona, her work as Wiki instructor for the Clan most prevalent amongst them, running 1 competition for this function, Shades of Distant Past: http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/CompetitionDetails.asp?page=5&order=Queue_Comp.StartDate%20DESC,%20Queue_Comp.EndDate&sort=desc&filter=finished&ID=2894
Xathia also ran two report Trivia sessions, earning her 2 Legions of the Scholar. Besides this, Hunter Xathia has also completed her own Wiki, creating a detailed background story, spanning the life of Xathia from birth to present, weaving it with the lives and events of a number of DB characters. Her work as Wiki instructor gained her a Steel Cross, as acknowledgement not only for her aid to members of her House and the Greater clan with their fictional backgrounds, giving tips and pointers on how to tackle certain issues, but also for her continuing work as Serpents Fang, aiding her Quaestor and Aedile in many ways with advice and ideas on the progress of the House, improving the Houses background with her work on the Facilities Documents (nearly 30 page document, currently still in progress), and in helping with the editing and revisions of the Caliburnus Dominion document (a 15 page document) as well as aiding the House Summit in revising all the Wiki articles for the House, Battleteams, and several others.
She is active not just on the House Level, but also on Clan level, having done a project for the ProConsul, to summarize the fictional background of the Reclamation of Judecca clan competition for the wiki.
Her road has been long and full of strife, but her activity and drive in mind; I believe Xathia has more than earned the right to be elevated to Dark Jedi Knight and to take possession of her Lightsaber, Congratulations Xathia!

Quaestor, House Caliburnus
Xathia is one of the most, if not the most, helpful members in all of Caliburnus. She is currently contributing to the House Caliburnus facilities project and is the assistant to Clan Scholae Palatinae's Ward of the South (the DJB Wiki ward). As the assistant to the Ward of the South, Xathia has helped newer members work on their Wiki pages and given reports in the Scholae Palatinae mailing list in place of Impetus, the Ward. She received a Steel Cross for assisting the Ward of the South and Rasilvenaira and I for all of the aforementioned tasks she has undertaken.
Xathia participates in most, if not all of the Clan, House, and Battleteam competitions. Her exploits have netted Xathia with a total of eight crescents (1 Amethyst, 2 Emerald, 2 Topaz, and 3 Quartz). She also has received 2 Legions of the Scholar, one for winning a trivia event and the other for hosting a trivia event. Overall, Xathia has participated in 15 competitions since becoming a hunter. For participation in the Clan Wide and House Wide events of Reclamation and Deadly Deceptions, respectively, she has earned two Dark Crosses, one from each four week train of events. She also is running a house run on (Krath's Tome). She also recently has updated the many Caliburnus' Battle Team Wiki pages.
Xathia is also a monster in the ACC, fighting in 7 battles, and winning them all! For this, her ACC rank was raised to Combatant. Xathia has also recently been made an ACC Trainer, helping new members, not just in Clan Scholae Palatinae, but in a couple of clans.
Xathia is a great person to work alongside (She is a part of the Serpent's Fang, a group of people that aid Rasilvenaira and myself in House duties) and would rather help others instead of helping herself (she proofreads many member's fictions, ACC posts, and run on posts). She is one of those people who you can count on to be in IRC, answering questions, and conversing with other members. Xathia has assimilated herself into the Brotherhood, and as such, I recommend an elevation in rank. Congratulations on your lightsaber, Knight.

Xathia has been an invaluable asset to me in the position of overseeing CSP's character development and Wikipedia activity (Ward of the South). Extremely reliable, Xathia is always around when needed, and if I ask for something done, it'll be done within hours, every time, without fail.
While many journeymen in positions of responsibility resent the prospect of writing reports, and subconsciously convey that within them, Xathia has taken an incredibly enthusiastic attitude towards this rather tedious task, and her reports are always of exceptionally high standards. Typically, these reports include an introduction, news regarding the Wikipedia and Ward of the South projects, a featured article of her choice, with an explanation of why it's a good example, advertising the current monthly topic, and in many cases reporting the results of the previous.
A common activity for both of us is showing struggling members their way with using the DB Wikipedia. It is not uncommon for me to hear reports from said struggling members about what a great help Xathia can be. I have experienced this first hand, as even after teaching Xathia everything I know about the wiki, she is still a help when coding my own pages.
One of Xathia's most noticeable abilities that I couldn't live without is her organizational qualities. When running and organizing monthly fiction competitions, she is remarkably good at knowing exactly what we've discussed and when, to the extent of recalling 8 competition entries in quality order seemingly off the top of her head. She also has excellent ideas for the topics of these competitions, for example 'Shades of Distant Past' was a very successful event where entrants wrote about a defining event of their character's life, and was run purely by Xathia, with no input from me.
Where would I be without Xathia?
Probably unemployed.

Ward of the South
In the short period of time that it has been my privilege to know Jedi Hunter Xathia, first as a fellow member of the Clan, then as my Student, it has struck me how her dedication and zeal for all things her adopted Clan has brought about a change within her.
Although its been a slow process, complicated by numerous events beyond her control, but in that time, she has changed from a quiet wallflower to a person well worth the honor of representing our glorious Clan. Her work that has been quietly done for her
house is of excellent quality, such as her entries to just about every competition being run by her House, and many of the competitions being run by the Clan. As an example, since the last time she was awarded a medal, she has submitted to two House competitions (Grim Reaper and Soul of a Warrior), she has submitted for the Clan Winter Games, and has had active roles in the Antei Combat Chamber, earning a spot as a Trainer.
Furthermore, she has been single-handedly running the Kraths Tome run-on for her House, and running it expertly. Her assistance to the Ward of the South has been equally outstanding, and has not been mentioned before. In such a capacity, she has assisted Archpriest Impetus Korin Palpatine in writing quite a few wikis for the Clan, which shell elaborate on separately. I just merely mention these things to provide a framework so a person not familiar with her can see where she is coming from.
What is truly outstanding is that despite her work for her House and her Clan, she still has found time to complete various tasks required of her by the Clan Master/Student Program to an exceptional degree. She has been the major participant in the Timbals Nine run-on on the Clan message board, becoming an official part of Clan lore in the process. That Task was the fictional capstone of her training in the Master/Student Program. Her path has been hard, frustrating, and occasionally cause for any other person to just give up, but her willingness to keep going despite these obstacles is what is really impressive.
As her Master, I hereby declare that Xathia has completed all of her requirements to the
Master/Student Program as set down by the Clan, and with Honors. Thus, I recommend immediate promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight in service to Clan Scholae Palatinae.

Xathia is a shining example in how a journeymen should be. Jumping into the fray and answering the call to help further her clan. She works diligently with Impetus to make sure that the CSP Wiki's are up to date, historically accurate and a pleasure to read. Xathia has done an excellent job at assignments given to her, whether it be on the house level or the Ward level. When Impetus is not around, she is the go-to person on any aspect of the Ward of the South. It is a pleasure and honor to request that Xathia be awarded the Rank of DJK and allowed to construct and wield her saber.
