Primary reason

On behalf of the leadership of Clan Naga Sadow, I have the honor today of promoting Robert Atema Daragon. Recommendations are as follows:

What can I say about Bob that isn't already obvious? He is probably the most active old drunk I've ever had the pleasure to work with. You see, Bob left his family almost a year ago now, to boldly go where no Sadow had gone before. He spent some time as the PCON of Plagueis and then did a stint as Quaestor of House Satal Keto. Obviously, he must have been doing something right to get these positions, though I am unable to say much about them. But Bob's heart grew heavy for his home and one day, I found him passed out on the steps of the House Ludo Kressh where I was then the Quaestor. After hosing him off (he smelled awful; like a Gungan who'd been left in the heat!), I brought him and let him sleep it off. Once he was sober enough to stand without falling, he asked to rejoin the Sapphire Squadron as he had missed it greatly (and Fred too). I reinstated him as a flight leader and he immediately began working with the current team, offering advice and getting to know them. Not long after, we were in need of a new leader for the battle team and Bob volunteered. I didn't need to think twice; and placing the Viking helmet upon his head once more, donned him Commander of Sapphire Squadron once again! Since becoming the Battle Team leader for the elite squadron of House Ludo Kressh, Robert Atema Daragon has filled it with active members, ran numerous competitions and done weekly reports. He makes himself available on IRC for the new and old members alike, mentoring, advising, and offering copious amounts of alcohol to all at Trevarus Caerick's expense. He is the first to compete in competitions run by the members of his team as well as the clan itself and earned more crescents then anyone in the recent Artisan's Comp. He encourages activity by keeping in touch with his team and leading by example at all times. His counsel and experience within the DJB has been invaluable not only to the newer members but the newer summit members as well. I'm am proud to recommend the mean old drunk, Robert 'Bob' Atema Daragon for this way over due promotion to Sith Warlord.

~Epis Ashia Kagan Keibatsu Consul of Clan Naga Sadow

Since taking on my role of Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh, Bob has done a fantastic job as Battleteam Leader of the Sapphire Squadron. He posts weekly reports on time, keeps members entertained and interested and overall does an awesome job at keeping members active. In the most recent months he's also been very active in competitions and leading by example. He was the overall winner in CNS's Artisan Competition earlier this year and also has been very active in the Shadow Academy too completing the Wiki Basics Course, Training Saber Basics Course, Sith Alchemy Course, Obelisk Core Course, Lightsaber Studies Course, History of the Sith Empire II Course, Force Philosophy Course and the ACC Initiates Course. He's also earned 21 Crescents so far this year alone as well as a Seal of Loyalty, and we're not even counting the numerous activity he's accumulated over the years since his last promotion or his previous leadership positions. Even before I was appointed as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh I took notice of Bob, and from my point of view as a newer member of the DJB he has definitely made a positive influence on our members and has shown dedication to his House and Clan. I believe he whole heartedly deserves this promotion and it's long overdue.

~ DJK Faeril Munlear Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh

Since his last promotion in 1998, Bob has been a stellar example of what a leader should be. He does entertaining reports, motivates his charges, and is a pleasure to have around. He has served as Proconsul, Aedile, and Quaestor in 2 different Clans. I could not even begin to list all his medals and awards, as there are 5 pages of them. These include many crescents, merit awards, and seals. I was so happy that Bob came back to CNS, as I pretty much cut my teeth in the DB under his mentorship in Sapphire Squadron. To me, Bob IS Sapphire Squadron. I could not ask for a better leader to hold that position, and I am fully confident the Battleteam is in good hands under his supervision. For his long and outstanding service, Bob should be promoted and given a beer.

~SWL Mononoki 'Macron' Keibatsu Sadow Aedile House Ludo Kressh Clan Naga Sadow

There's not much I can say about Bob that hasn't already been said by others. A long term member of Clan Naga Sadow who has served as every position available in the Clan (apart from Rollmaster I believe?). He has a long history of being there for the leaders of his Clan and being a proactive member. I have to admit I dont know Bob like the rest do; the reason for this is because I'm still new to the Clan and Bob goes back to the "Stone Age" which the more senior members (like Trev, Xanos, Macron, the list can go on). I only know Bob as the Battleteam Leader of Sapphire Squadron; which is his old stomping ground from what I gather. I have to admit that if there was one person I would want to be a BTL then it would be Bob. I know he has served higher up positions but let me just concentrate on this one. It takes a lot of effort to successfully manage a Battleteam. It is, however, something he does rather well indeed. It takes time, it takes effort, it takes determination, but above all, it takes patience and foresight to be a good leader. Bob has all this, he has served in God knows how many leadership positions since his last promotion. I can only base this one what I know from the leadership positions I have been in; but its hard work... yes... hard work to be a leader in this club, hard work to do something we find fun, hard work to do something we want to do. Bob does want to be a leader... he has shown this countless of times in the past. He was to be a positive influence to others. He has the experience too. Robert Atema Daragon knows what is expected of him as a leader of this club, regardless to some if he just looks to be in a BTL position. What makes Battleteam Leader any different than Aedile, or Quaestor, or even Proconsul? Nothing; because it's what the person brings to the job that defines it, not what the job brings to the person. A lot of the youth today dont understand that. A lot of people believe being in a leadership position is a privilege, its not, it's a burden... one which we bare with great pride and honour; we serve our members, not the other way around. Bob knows this... and this is the key to being a good leader (in my books anyway). Bob has for years done this, and not simply just in Clan Naga Sadow, but in other Clans. He is a true member of the Brotherhood, he does what he does not only for his Clan but for the Brotherhood as a whole... He may not be a member of the Overclan, but he has been and always will be a guiding force and leader within the Six Clans throughout his Dark Jedi career. In the past he has went where he is needed; today that being a Battleteam Leader. What more can we ask out of our members? What more can they give but this? Promoting this Battlelord up a rank is the greatest reward the Dark Council, Clan and House Summits of Naga Sadow can bestow.

~SBM Ashura Megos Isradia Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos. Clan Naga Sadow

Congratulations, Bob
