Phoenix d'Tana Palpatine has served as Consul of CSP for over one year. In that time he has led the Clan to excellent finishes in major competitions while at the same time personally finishing in the top tier of all DB members in those very same competitions. It is seldom, if ever, that we have had a senior level achieve success at both leading his unit to success while personally achieving success. Phoenix has pulled it off and has done so with his usual brand of style.
In the course of a year, Phoenix has led his Clan in several Clan vs Clan competitions, rewrites of major clan fiction, and multiple house competitions. His constant work ethic has made his Clan a top tier organization in the DB as well as one of the few Clans who can truly say they throw out all the stops for new members.
For his continued and outstanding service to the DB, I am honored to promote Phoenix to the rank of Elder. Congrats!
Ever since Ive known him, Phoenix has been there as an exemplary role model for the clan, his leadership is fair and professional, and his presence within the clan has barely wavered since he was named Proconsul on in October 2006. Among his many talents, one trait of Phoenix that always impresses me is his attitude when things go wrong beyond his control. Quite simply, Phoenix never gives up, and will keep not giving up until the situation is resolved. As a member, it is refreshing to know that I have a Consul who will fight, fight, and fight some more if I need something.
In CSP, my role is Priestess of Lore, the one who produces all the clan-based wiki articles and oversees character development, so naturally I spend a lot of time with Phoenix to make sure Im getting the pages right and to the highest standard. When Phoenix tells me what to do, theres very rarely any confusion, his tasks for me are always so clear and decisive theres no room for questions. Under Phoenix, in this position, Ive learned a hell of a lot about how the wiki works, and its because of him that I was able to get a position on the general Wiki Staff not too long ago.
Ive learned more under him than I have under any other leader, and am grateful for the help and support Ive received in nearly every area of the db. Leaders of Phoenixs calibre and style are almost unique, and I would love to see him ascend to the Elder Ranks, where he deserves to be.

Lucien:
I have served with and alongside Phoenix for over a year now, and I can unequivocally say that his leadership style and manner are the single most important reason that we were victorious in the 2008 Independence Games and the Clan Feud with Arcona and Plagueis. It is through his sometimes unorthodox style that he seems to bring the best out in people, whether through encouragement or slight bit of fear.
Over the last year or so, Phoenix and I have worked closely on defining what it is we want Scholae to be and how we can allow our members to best enjoy all the club as a whole has to offer. We decided early on that a strong fictional aspect was key to bringing our members closer together. We attempted to accomplish this in a serious of ways. We enlisted the assistance of Ric Blade Hunter to start on graphics for the Clan, giving visual representation to landmarks and buildings that had only existed in text form previous.
It was on this foundation that we began to build the Clan. We further defined our military might through a complete overhaul of our entire military forces. This was a massive undertaking that was barely complete before the military was fictionally thrust into combat with two opposing Clans.
When the opportunity for the Independence Games came about, Phoenix jumped into planning and organization almost immediately. He was visibly excited about being able to be a part of the team that ran the IGs and but for a few hiccups, it was a resounding success. Phoenixs leadership through the entirety of the campaign showed that he could exude resolve in the face of insurmountable odds and bring the Clan to the top of a major DB wide event.
We carried that momentum into the three way Clan Feud, dubbed Uneasy Alliances. For months, Arcona and Scholae had been in talks to engage in a Feud. With the departure of Braecen to Plagueis, we decided to step it up a notch and include Plagueis as well. When it came right down to it, Phoenix was the driving force behind the entire Feud, getting it from the infancy stages to launch day with very few problems. He was diplomatic in his endeavors to bring the three Clans in agreement on the Feud specifics, something that was not an easy task given the Clans interwoven histories.
In conclusion, I have seen Phoenix grow over the past year to someone that I can not only respect, but that I look to for guidance in my DB career. He is a mentor to me, a good friend, and is more than deserving of joining the Elder ranks of the Brotherhood.
Congratulations Dark Adept Palpatine, you truly deserve it.
