The Promotion from Protector to Guardian shows the real potential of a member and how far they are really willing to take the Brotherhood seriously. Much like the jump from Jedi Hunter to Dark Jedi Knight, it takes a large initiative to be promoted to the rank of Guardian.
Since Jamess promotion to Protector, he has earned 5 Crescents for placing in a large array of competitions, has earned 5 Clusters of Fire for his fantastic gaming, and finally, has earned a Dark Cross for his great service to Taldryan in the Great Jedi War 9: Unification by participating in roughly 5 events ranging from gaming, to fiction, to graphics and trivia while maintaining active communicating via IRC and email. His constant activity on IRC and his practically-daily email updates to his house Summit greatly sets James apart from the other members of Ektrosis.
From the beginning of his DB career, I could tell James would go far in Taldryan, and in the Brotherhood itself, and I was more than correct. With the proper guidance I have seen James turn out to be one of Ektrosiss top members, his overall attitude and maturity in the online world changing a greatly for the better. His attempts at gaining rank and position in the Brotherhood has finally started to grow from the burning coal it used to be to the blazing fire it is now becoming. For the reasons above, I am proud to promote James StarGazer to the outstanding rank of Guardian.
