Primary reason

Equite promotions aren't the easiest and most common promotions to be seen, especially the rank of Equite 4. This promotion is the last one before a member reach his spot in the Elder ranks. Therefore, it is my honour to recommend Timeros for his promotion to Krath Pontifex. The reasons I think that Tim deserves this honoured promotion are diverse.

He's been Quaestor of Galeres when they were in need during the Great Jedi War for a total of four months. He took on Rollmaster after his resignation from Quaestor and made the clan a new welcoming letter, which was something we needed. He's been an active help in several ACC discussion of which some are put into place now. He also shaped the initial discussion about the DJB RPG system. This on its own isn't a mean feat but it's not all Timeros did.

During the RoS, Tim has proofread close to 60 or 70 posts in two to three-day periods, whilst doing this he also was able to finish four battles himself. Showing more than average motivation and dedication he was not satisfied with just the ACC, he wrote a limerick and even produced a quality collaboration fiction together with Strat which they placed fourth with.

Lastly but surely not least, Timeros has been acting proconsul during the complete RoS, since Braecen was on LoA. He motivated the members and managed our ACC team together with Dash and Lan. All in all, Timeros has been an amazing addition to Arcona and Qel-Droma for which I'd like to thank him. He was a great help in Arcona claiming fourth place. He more than deserved this mighty promotion to Krath Pontifex.

Timeros, Congratulations on your promotion and again thanks for all the work, time and energy you have put into this clan. Your efforts won't ever go unnoticed and I look forward to what else, after all you already brought to our clan, your future will bring to us.
Celahir Erinos, Quaestor, House Qel-Droma

Timeros is one of the most extraordinary people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Over the years, he has served Arcona in a variety of roles - sometimes short-lived, often unofficial, but always with drive, vision and energy. In the three centuries (give or take) since his last promotion, Tim has held virtually every position in Arcona, from Consul to just a regular battle team member, and everything in between. It may seem an erratic career, but it suits him. Tim has a sort of on/off switch, and has had it for a long time. Sure, occasionally he disappears into obscurity, partly responsible for keeping him at Epis for so long despite the huge amounts of work he's done. But when the switch is on, he's one of the best in the Brotherhood. His combination of energy, skill and problem-solving abilities has saved Arcona on more occasions than I care to remember, and he's capable of making other people flourish alongside him. I'm not going to drag up a list of everything he's done for the Clan in the last three years , but I will offer this example: in the last Rite of Supremacy, he somehow managed to win his ACC battles, coordinate the entire Clan effort, and proofread about half the posts made by everyone else. And that was just one event. I could go on reminiscing, but I don't have an extra hour to spare. The bottom line is that Tim is an Arconan legend, has meant more to the Clan than all but two or three people, and is one of the most talented writers I've ever come across in this club. It seems to me, then, that an elevation to Pontifex is not merely fitting - it's the only option, and the right thing to do. Many congratulations, my friend.
Strategos Thanatos Entar Arconae

Tim is one of those guys that I look on with a sense of awe within the confines of the Brotherhood. He is super knowledgeable about the inner workings of the club and always willing to take the time to work with someone when an issue arises. With the RoS about to begin, Tim stepped up and provided leadership to the Clan that we desperately needed at the time. He was a rallying cry for those of us who wanted to make a good showing in the competition, and led the charge for the Clan especially in the ACC arena. His intimate knowledge of that craft allowed many of us who are new to do the best we could, while he constantly challenged us to rise to the occasion.
As many will attest in this promotion recommendation, leadership often comes from those who do not hold official positions within the Brotherhood, and Timeros demonstrated this truth greatly during the six plus weeks of RoS mayhem. He is a true pillar of the Clan and someone I am glad to have around in order to give me perspective as I continue to grow in my knowledge and experience of the club. It is my honor to write a recommendation for Tim to be promoted to the highest ranks of the Equite class, and I truly believe that he has demonstrated both through his actions in the Clan and throughout the Brotherhood as a leader in the ACC that he deserves this great triumph. Already an elder within our great Clan, it is my hope that Tim will continue to grow and develop and one day take on the mantle of becoming one of the great Elders within the entire Brotherhood. Congrats, Tim, and thanks for being such a great part of the team.
A driving force: that's what Timeros is in Arcona and the Brotherhood. He's one of those members you can rely on to step up and jump heads on into the fire whenever the clan needs it. He doesn't just sit on his chair, cooks up a few pieces of work and sends them just so he can say "I did my part" and be done with it, no, he literally does his outstanding work and somehow, with a significant sacrifice of personal time, manages to help everyone else involved. He pulls everyone around him like a maelstrom, focusing all our efforts into one single objective: to win, honorably and through hard work. This can be seen in the last RoS: prior to its start he talked to anyone who needed tips about the ACC and wanted their character sheets more in tune with their characters' personality and their writing styles. When the competition hit us not only was he one of our top ACC warriors but he was also there in the background proofreading like crazy, giving insight and keeping everyone united and organized. Not only Arcona benefits from his synergy, however: he was essential in the first attempts of life of the DB's rpg project under the former Fiction Tribune, and he helped the new Combat Master get settled into her position as her Deputy. People like Timeros are rare, and they deserve recognition and gratitude from all of us, they are the ones who keep our club alive.
Lan

Timeros is one of these unsung heroes that keeps the DB afloat. He’s a former Consul of Arcona, a former Proconsul, Arconae, and basically my top advisor. To accurately depict the level of dedication Timeros has to his clan, I’ll have to do something I swore I never would; divulge a piece of information never meant to see the light of day: Around four years ago, Timeros and I made a pact – to always, always act with Arcona’s best interests at heart when it came to the summit (we nicknamed ourselves the Arcona Partisans, and vowed that at least one of us would always be around to safeguard Arcona and make sure no threats, internal or external, ever damaged the infrastructure). This vow came into play numerous times when Consuls weren’t pulling their weight, and together we’ve made sure that the DC was always aware and that the GM was able to act with the full story on such issues, rather than allowing a CON to rest on his laurels. We’ve kept this going for nearly half a decade, and whilst I’ve kept a more public profile as a member of the summit pretty much constantly for the duration, Timeros has kept himself behind the scenes, ready to come forward should he be needed. Such a time existed during the GJW when the PCON and both QUAs quit. He was an able Quaestor and helped us attain first place, and afterwards, when he was sure the clan was stable again, he dropped back to his work behind the scenes. Again, during the RoS, given Brae’s absence, he stepped up and took on the role of brevet-Proconsul and it was his single-minded focus on the ACC that got us through it bloodied but with a grin on our faces. His loyalty to the clan is beyond question. His dedication to the DB is staunch and stalwart, and he’s even become very involved in the ACC, acting as a Magistrate to no less than three Combat Masters, helping to vastly improve the ACC as a single entity, rather than seeking to put band-aids on the wounds.
With him having gone through the rigmarole of Consul himself, he can often appreciate what trials face me, and together with Strat and Lan form my closest circle of advisors. He often assigns himself projects, such as the Prospectus rework to lighten my workload, and this is just one of a myriad of examples of such projects – he was also vocal in the Shadesworn rework scheme, Arconae votes, Project: Reb00t, getting to be friends with Sang and thus obtaining a huge asset to the clan, and even asking Brae to apply for PCON. His network of information is formidable and I can think of nobody within the clan that has a problem with him. Honestly, I know Arcona would’ve been closed or in Plagueis’s shoes now were it not for the relentless efforts of Timeros Entar Arconae, and his dedication and selfless service time and time again need to be recognised. Well done, Tim. Thanks for always being there.
Sashar Arconae
