I have known Anubis fro quite some time, and it has been great to see someone who has actually grown and matured as they years have gone on. Many times people tend to stay static in how they act, but to get to where he is Anubis had to evolve. The person he was would never have attained the second-highest position in Taldryan or have become at Tribune. While other can speak to his activity and specific accomplishments, it is his overall growth that shows he is more thanready to move up in the ranks of the DB.

He has become someone who can be relied upon when a job needs doing. He has shown a greater ability to work with others, rather than against them. He is more than ready for Equite 2, and I am forward to seeing him continue on this road and achieve his next milestone in the Brotherhood.

I know Sith Warrior Anubis Annedu now for at least one and a half year, in this time he became a good friend of mine. He is a really nice person who has always an open ear for any member of the House as well as any other member of the DB who has trouble with the Wiki. He was also the Person who firstly brought the thought of being more than an average member of the House into my mind by getting me interested in becoming Leader of a Battleteam. As we are both part of the Taldryan Summit we work really close together, something I really enjoy, as working with him is always a nice and funny thing to do, and even when I am lacking in my responsibilities as BTL, it’s him who reminds me on my duties, keeping my active and working to not only my, but also the best efforts of the Battleteam as well as the best efforts of the House. Since assuming a leadership role, I have learned to rely upon the inspiration that others in our caste can give; Anubis is one of those from whom I've learned. As the more than capable AED of Taldryan, he has been one of the prime supporters of his House's efforts to strengthen the ties that bind us all; he was a vocal initiator of the Tri-House Feud, and most recently, the alliance between House Naga Sadow. Not content to lend his energies to solely his House, Anubis admirably serves the entirety of the DB as Wiki Tribune; his attention to the Wiki coupled with his careful grooming of his staff ensures that we have an attractive and practical reference resource that adds to the enjoyment of the DB as a whole. I admire such selflessness, and feel that it should be rewarded. I hereby lend my name without reservation to the others calling for Anubis' promotion. Congratulations!

QUA Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow Son of Sadow

Shaz'air, me (being Tarentum Quaestor at the time), and various others to create and run the "Burden, Distrust, and Loathing" tri-house feud among Tarentum, Naga Sadow, and Taldryan. His cooperation, enthusiasm, and bounty of ideas really helped spur on a fantastic competition, and he even took time to polish up the little things about the feud (like organizing the e-mail account where submissions were sent so we could better sort through entries). While such a summation of his activity seems brief, you can see for yourself the massive work he has put into the Brotherhood without so many sugary words. Anubis, you have truly grown and matured as a DBer, and I'm proud to call you a friend. Way to go!

Two years ago I probably wouldn't be writing this, but then again, we've all changed in that amount of time. Anubis is one of the biggest redemption success stories the DB has come to known in a long while. I've come to admire his passion and all around dedication to making our Wiki the monster it is today. He's the last of his breed, holding the torch as the DB's only Tribune. And I couldn't think of anyone better to be bearing that torch. If you take a look at the sheer volume of information that's added to the Wiki every day, keep this in mind: Anubis has a habit of proofing and checking every upload. Not just because it's his job, but because he prides himself on keeping Brotherhood continuity in check. It's not an easy job, and I know few people that would have the patience for that kind of work, and Anubis is one of those few who excel beyond his limits. Let it be known that on this year of our Lord Ashen 33ABY I, Taigikori Aybara Dupar hereby recommend that Anubis Annedu be elevated to the rank of Equite 2 and take his place among the upper Equites. Anubis is proof that the way that you start out in the Brotherhood has very little bearing on what you can aspire to. His origins in the club are legendarily bad. Considered an obnoxious troll figure to the point of being chased out of a clan, many people would have cut and run out of the club. Instead, Anubis went the other way. He used the experience to understand where he stood and learned from it. Since then, he has worked hard to overcome all the expectations and become a critical part in Taldyran and above that, on the Dark Summit as Wikipedia Tribune. The fact that he has been able to rise above the preconceived notions of others and let his work speak for itself is proof of the meritocracy that we all work so hard to instill in our Brotherhood. The work ethic that Anubis has shown, along with the loyalty it takes to persevere is impressive. Equite 2 is the first rank achievable ONLY through leadership and excellence rather than extreme activity. Never the less, if previous ranks had required leadership and taking responsibility, it would not have impeded Anubis’s ascension what-so-ever. His energy in working towards the greater good is as undiminished as ever. Since his last promotion a year ago we have seen him grow and take to his new found position in Taldryan with excitement and a youthful vigor that is quite rare in the Brotherhood these days. Anubis is simultaneously the Tribune of the Wiki and the Aedile of House Taldryan. From what I witnessed while in Taldryan and in conversation with his Quaestor, Shaz’air Taldrya, he is the primary task master of the summit. He sets to projects with a fervor and does not cease until he has seen it to completion. I saw this in my own interaction with him in the reset of the Clan and then House’s planetary systems. As Wiki Tribune, Anubis enforces the rules and standards of his domain for a firm but understanding fist. We’ve seen a standardization of layouts and style guides in the wiki during his reign as well as an increase in the quality of edits and content. If the simultaneous execution of two Dark Summit positions wasn’t impressive enough, Anubis has done it while maintaining his own level of personal activity. He constantly contributes to House and DB level competitions. He games, writes, and wikis. In the year since his last promotion Anubis has earned himself 4 Legions of the Scholar, 4 Seals of Defiance, a Seal of Loyalty, a Sapphire Blade, various Crescents, many Clusters of both the Ice and Fire varieties, and eight Dark Side Scrolls. He epitomizes personal activity in an Equite of the Brotherhood. For outstanding leadership and exemplary personal leadership I ask that Anubis Annedu be considered for elevation to the well and deserved rank of Sith Battlemaster. ~His Excellency, the Voice of the Brotherhood Vodo Biask Taldrya I have watched Anubis Annedu grow exponentially; as a leader and as an individual. He has great communication with his house and always makes himself available for anyone who needs it. Anubis is one stand up dude. Considering I pretty much talk to him every day about one thing or the other, mainly either wiki stuff, gaming, or the TAL/CNS alliance, heck even the RL stuff we gotta deal with. He's a good boss to the wiki. Making sure everything it sorted even when I'm running around doing my own modifications. Along with being TAL Aedile, the dude has been hard at work and I can't think of a more deserving person for Equite 2 than Anubis. Congrats Broski, its a well earned one.

Oh Anubis, look how far you've come :P Now, my memory tends to fade in and out, but the Anubis I recall from a few years ago is definitely not the Anubis that serves as the Aedile of Taldryan. He's come along way since those dark, early days, and is now an exemplary member of the House and an excellent leader. Not only is he serving Taldryan, but he's also serving the Brotherhood as a whole in his capacity of Wiki Tribune--an important, but often underappreciated role that takes more effort and patience than most would realize. I won't bother to list individual accomplishments as I'm sure others will gush about them, but I will say that Anubis is fully deserving of this promotion to Battlemaster. Congratulations, Anubis.

Anubis has been the back-bone of Taldryan for well over a year now, far beyond his promotion to Sith Warrior 11 months ago. Not only has he been running Taldryan by my side, but working full time as Tribune: Wiki. In that time as T:W he's worked out a couple of new policies for the Wiki, has updated and maintained a capable Wiki Staff and continues to make sure things run smoothly. He puts out steady Wiki Tribune reports, and has run a small handful of competitions through the T:W position, as well as through his status as Aedile for Taldryan. He's on IRC a good majority of the day, and is open for any member to get a hold of him. Real Life work has picked up for him some in recent months, so his IRC access is limited compared to what it was, but that does not stop him from checking his email over his Phone, which makes it easy to get a hold of.

In complete count, Anubis's medals since his last promotion are as follows: Awards since his last promotion: 71 Clusters of Fire 9 Dark Side Scrolls Crescent with Emerald Quartz and Amethyst Star (total of 3) Seal of Loyalty Sapphire Blade 3 Legion of the Scholar

Anubis has been the key factor in writing Taldryan's recent Fictional Updates and has been on the front lines in forging a strong relationship between Taldryan and Naga Sadow, something which is hard pressed to find genuinely in this club. In Disorder, he was one of the only active Krath members to participate on behalf of Taldryan, having snagged himself 7 Seals of Defiance.

His work ethic is unlike any I have seen, and despite all that goes on for him in Real Life, he manages to get any task I give him done. His most auspicious feat has been working on the Taldryan Ground Forces. He developed 3 complete Regiments with all of the bells and whistles that come with it. Along with that, he edited and updated the Taldryan Order of Battle, and has begun working on Taldryans Dominion (Kr'Tal and Rybanloth system). Anubis completely re-did Taldryan's Kr'Tal system, giving Taldryan's home a make-over with new images for each planet (though he had help on the images from Vodo) and complete new descriptions and histories for all of them. Last but certainly not least, Anubis ran the 2010 Bryar Bowl, which was a ladder system that ran through the entire Brotherhood. He constantly kept up with what the scores were, who was in the lead and what the rewards were to be. He also managed to haggle Muz into making some sexy rewards for the top two winners.

Overall, Anubis has embodied what it means to be active "behind the scenes" for Taldryan, and continues to do so. Aside from his Sapphire Blade, Anubis has not been awarded with any merit medals or other large-awards since his last promotion, and this promotion itself is what we like to call "overdue". However, Taldryan stands on that our members must work for their rewards and promotions, and grapthars hammer, he has earned this! 10 recommendations from all ranks and positions in the Brotherhood for a single Equite 2 promotion says a lot about this person.

It is with my great pleasure, and high honor that I recommend this promotion on behalf of Taldryan for faithfully serving as Aedile for 7 months and for the Dark Jedi Brotherhood in serving faithfully as Wiki Tribune for 5 months and being an upstanding member, for Sith Warrior Anubis Annedu to be elevated to the rank of Sith Battlemaster!
