Primary reason

I do not know how Eiko does it. For most of his time in the DB Eiko has been a leader in Revan, our first Idependant House. While talented beyond question, the foundation first laid for this House was suspect, the culture that arose from it not as conducive to what is perceived as "healthy" in the DB. As such, Eiko has been fighting an uphill battle from the moment he took command of the House. It is a battle however that he tirelessly fights and should be an inspiration to others. He is constantly looking a new ways to motivate his House and finding novel ideas to spark some life into Revan. He does not sulk or lash out at others, but instead uses his energies to encourage his House. He does not quit, and does everything that can be asked for from a Quaestor. He also lends a hand to any Dark Councillor who wishes for it, his efforts not only confined to his House. He is a true team player, and his efforts do not go unnoticed. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks of the Equite. Keep up the hard work!

To All Who are reading this, what follows is a recommendation for one of our best and brightest to be honored for his contribution not just to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole, but to the perseverance and preservation of our first Independent House since Ektrosis.

I speak of course about our very own Dark Jedi Eiko, Quaestor of Independent House Revan.

Since last being promoted in October of last year, after running Independent house Revan for over a month, he has proved to be a dedicated and determined person that has pulled out every possible stop to keep Revan alive. He has personally spearheaded five competitions for his house: Napkin Poetry, Zodiac Writing, Finish the Report, Revan Trivia, and Revan Trivia points ladder. Furthermore, he contributed to the Independence Games by writing and judging the event Drive.

He has managed to earn a pretty consistent and exceptional amount of awards in the last seven months: Seventy Seven Clusters of Fire, Two Crescents with Diamond Stars, Crescent with Ruby Star, Six Seals of Defiance, Three Seals of Return, and a Bronze Nova.

What remains the driving factor though is the fact that Revan is still alive. Despite losing many of its more senior members and suffering steady attrition, including myself, Eiko has never once given up hope. He continues to cheer on his members, providing the example against which they shall be judged. There is no doubt that without his dedication, perseverance and sense of pride in what Revan is, it would not still exist. ~~~ OP Tra'an Reith (Obelisk)/AED/Plagueis

There's a thouseand ways to burn out in this club, a thousand ways to die in the Brotherhood. Eiko faces one of the worst every day. Leading a house comprised of the low-activity elders, this new Equite has worked to milk some kind of activity, any kind of work from these people. It's not an easy gig. Revan was conceived as a house where the tired and retired could hang out, where the adults with better things to do could hide and not be pestered to submit to a dozen low-effort competitions every week. Eiko has worked instead to try to further the Mythology of House Revan while working to incorporate great competition ideas and classic hard work into building a reluctant house to greatness. And while it's easy to get disillusioned and burned out by the lack of feedback from your members, I wanted to make sure that he knows that his work is not going unnoticed. Today, I am here to stand in solidarity with Eiko, to reiterate and congratulate his choice to follow the ancient chinese maxim of 'charging the enemy, so long as there is life'. Today, I am here to promote Eiko. Thank you again for your efforts. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
