Araxis... This guy, has a hand in everything that I do around here in the Brotherhood. Whatever I do, he is right there by my side, and if I suggest something stupid, he knows to slap me upside the head. So, lets go over what exactly he's done with me. When he was last promoted on March 30th, he was told that the major project that he and I would be working on is creating and running the Dark Jedi Brotherhood's guild for the upcoming game, The Old Republic. We created and secured the Dark Jedi Brotherhood's name for a guild and literally are in the top 30 guilds in terms of membership, with over 240 members. He watches over the forums on the TOR website, and answering any questions that members of the guild post on the forums there. Whenever the developers from TOR came out with something new, he was sure to update our document to coincide their changes with now ours. We went over rules, awarding Clusters of Fire, addition of staff, who would be able to submit Clusters of Fire recommendations, raid times for European members and a different time schedule for American members, and he went over the recruiting guidelines. He offered to acquire the DJB's Ventrilo server since he already had an account with the a server company, and knew that it would be very cheap if we needed to increase the amount of slots that were needed upon the release of TOR. This project that we've been working on is huge, considering that it is coming out in the next month, and that we're going to be able to recruit a lot of people to join our guild and even our club. I would not be able to do this project without him and probably wouldn't be as far into it without him.
Moving onto other aspects of being my second, he's been on everything at every turn. When I proposed the addition of more Non-Star Wars games, he suggested Call of Duty and Battlefield 3 because of their vast communities. When I went to create the new Cluster of Fire grid, he made sure my math was correct, and he even suggested a few rules for the Rites of Combat for the new games. During the Great Jedi War, we had an issue with a member and I had him and Dante investigate the claim. This claim lead to changes in the Rites of Combat, that he agreed upon.
There were a few times over the summer and after the hurricane, he had to take over for me, awarding Clusters of Fire, Pendants of Blood, and making sure gaming was running smoothly in my absence. He would assist in the creation of competitions for the last few months except for the Independence Games and the Great Jedi War. He would also go over the code and provide server maintenance on the Republic Commando, Jedi Academy, and Jedi Outcast servers.
Finally, since his last promotion, he has earned a heck of a lot of Clusters of Fire, a Dark Cross, a Steel Cross, 2 Seals of Return, 2 Seals of Defiance, a Sapphire and Emerald Crescent, and a Seal of Loyalty. All in all, everything said here I think he's earned his promotion to Obelisk Prelate. Congrats cousin.
