Primary reason

Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar. One of the few people I would call a true Arconan. This man has made the Dark Brotherhood his number one commitment. For that, he surely must be commended. Over the years I’ve known him, he’s been a veritable bastion of activity. Although he did enter a dry spell halfway through my tenure as Aedile/Proconsul, Sang has more than redeemed himself. I have never known anyone so passionate about the Shadow Clan, nor have I ever witnessed such drive without want of praise or reward. He quietly gets on with tasks set by the upper Summit, creates his own projects, spreading them throughout his house for active, willing members to participate in, and never moans when more work is required. He is one of the carthorses who pull along the wagon of Arcona’s success, and it is for this that I am truly thankful.

First, I will list his acquired medals, before exposing his wide and varied skill set by way of the projects he has undertaken.

Sang has earned a staggering eight Clusters of Ice, forty-three Clusters of Fire, one Legion of the Scholar, ten Crescents of assorted levels, one Dark Side Scroll, a Seal of Loyalty, two Seals of Bone, five Seals of Defiance, thirteen Seals of Decimation, three Dark Crosses, one Anteian Cross, one Steel Cross, a Bronze Nova, and a Silver Nova. This, all in his time as Obelisk Templar. It is a striking level of activity for any member over a year-long stretch of activity, however this is without him being rewarded for his activity in his plethora of projects.

Prior to his departure from Arcona, Sang developed what would become a significant proportion of the Arconan storyline arc, which remains active to this day. The Death Walkers, initiated by Driftan Housan, then Aedile of House Arcona, were drawn up, created and fleshed out by Sang. His influence in the subject has been paramount in the Arconan fictional background. Without his work in creating such a rich and diverse enemy, Arcona’s development would not have been nearly as vibrant.

With Driftan Housan, Sang was also one of the major players in the Project: Reboot concept, designed to change the very nature of Summit positions in order to develop and expand the membership base of the Clan. In doing this, the intention was to create new leaders who would be able to move up into the positions created by the Project. The project itself was met with relative success, however, this doesn’t detract from the significant amount of work which was poured into its creation. Both Driftan and Sang were instrumental in its composition and, as Driftan has been awarded for his work in such an exhaustive task, it is only fair that Sang receives the same credit.

Similarly, one may also say that Sang was one of the primary individuals in the development of the future leader, Driftan Housan. This individual proved one of the most successful Arconan leaders in recent times. And Sang was one of the people who helped to develop Driftan and shape him into an effective leader.

During his spell in House Odan-Urr, Sang created and developed New Tython’s geography and geological make-up. He worked tirelessly to ensure that House Odan-Urr was provided with a substantial and viable location. He even went as far as naming the planet. Furthermore, he also assisted in creating some of the fictional background of Odan Urr, such as the development of the Arcona-House Odan-Urr joint run-on, which sparked a significant amount of interest in both houses. He was a major contributor to the ‘New Tython (Harakoa)’ Wikipedia page, which received article of the month some short time after its completion.

Upon his return to Arcona, Sang swiftly became active. His participation in the Tenth Great Jedi War drove him to enjoy the newly acquired Stealth-X squadron procured by Clan Arcona. He set to work, along with Solus Gar, developing a new Battleteam focused around this squadron, which became ‘Void Squadron’. He was integral to creating the ‘tactics’ and ‘equipment’ portions of the Wikipedia page, working alongside Solus Gar, and working by the bidding of the upper Summit, in order to complete the page within a week. Members had already begun to show interest and both Sang and Solus Gar jumped at the opportunity to develop Void into something substantial. He worked under the pressure of the strict deadlines and produced a piece of work integral to the development of the Squadron.

The Arcona Force Wraiths have been due a collation for as long as I have been in the Clan. Sang, along with Xathia, created a Wikipedia page in order to contain all of the Force Wraiths in one particular area. This was not only in order for individuals to be able to easily access all Force Wraiths by potential opponents, but to also flesh out the notion of the Force Wraiths, their abilities and their weaknesses. It was a marvellously engineered Wikipedia page and very helpful for every member of Arcona and beyond.

Outside Arcona, Sang has established himself as a strong, helpful individual. He has been Professor of Clan Histories for eleven months, for which I have not heard a single bad word as to his attitude, capability or his response times. He is currently working on an audit of the Clan Histories department, collating data and improving each of the courses in light of new developments.

Whilst this covers his completed tasks, Sang is still offering his services for the betterment of the Brotherhood. He is currently involved in a number of projects, the most significant being Project: Redacted, an initiative launched by Invictus, Quaestor of House Qel-Droma, which aims to redevelop the fictional background of House Qel-Droma in its entirety. Similarly, he has been personally tasked by the upper Summit to completely rewrite the Arcona military changes, which was originally written by myself but destroyed with the malfunction with the Wikipedia servers.

Sang’s record of leadership speaks for itself. He was Aedile of House Galeres for nine months, before his promotion to Quaestor of House Galeres, an office he held for another two months. He has currently been serving as Aedile of House Galeres for the past two months, and acting as Quaestor whilst Celahir deals with personal issues, dragging him away from his commitment to the Dark Brotherhood. He has single-handedly run the house for the best part of a month without as much as a word of complaint. This is the sort of dedication I have come to expect from a member of the Arconan Summit, and Sang has not failed to impress. Amongst this, he has still managed to fulfil the tasks of a leader, producing regular reports, maintaining house activity (by means of continued competitions and rewards for the newer members) and helping his members in any way possible. Even with the current Arcona Family Feud, Sang has managed to pump out a staggering six ACC matches over the past two weeks. Furthermore, he has entered into all of the competitions on offer with the event. He has completed all this, whilst helping others proofread their posts and guiding/driving his members. This is the true nature of a leader in Arcona and I am proud of his efforts, not least his ability to lead from the trenches.

As is clear by this extensive list of projects and awards, as well as his leadership track-record, Sang is a strong, active and dedicated member of the Brotherhood. He is always offering his services and his allegiance to the Brotherhood as a whole is his redeeming feature. I see no reason in my mind that this individual so worthy of an accolade, doesn’t deserve the rank of Obelisk Prelate.

Congratulations, Sang.

~Wuntila Zratian Entar Arconae, Consul of Clan Arcona.

In the events leading up to the War, we knew we needed a strong candidate to take over the reins of Qel-Droma's sole Battleteam, Shadow Gate. Sang had not ended his last tenure on the greatest of terms, so there was some doubt when his name was put into the mix for potential candidates. I realized then that despite some unavoidable circumstances in his real life, he truly was a stellar leader and a great friend. So, I rolled the dice and entrusted him with leading Shadow Gate into the Great Jedi War. Despite being tangled in real life, Sang still managed to keep his troops motivated (Shadow Gate was arguably one of the best Battleteam units, scoring wise, in GJWX) and put up a stellar performance on his own. Since the war ended, we had him shuffled to an XO position before moving him back to his original House and giving him the position of Aedile. Since that moment, Sang has shown why he has always had the potential to be a brilliant leader. He took the reins of Galeres and did a great job filling in for a absent Celahir. It's one thing to be able to lead, but when you're forced into a situation that requires you to rise to the occasion, you either rise or you fall. Sang has proven that no matter what obstacles he faces, he will find a way to triumph over them. Perseverance is probably the most underrated trait a leader can have, and Sang has it in abundance. I can't think of a more appropriate way of rewarding him for the work he's done by escalating him to the rank of Prelate.

-Marick Del'Abbot Proconsul of Clan Arcona.

I like to think of Sang as a persevering diplomat. He has been a smiling, friendly face all over the DB. A day hasn't gone by that I haven't seen him socializing with folks from other Houses, bridging that large gap between the units, something that I see others emulate from his example, even myself. He is extremely welcoming to new and old members in Arcona and goes well out of his way to help Journeymen and his fellow Arconans. When I took over his BTL position for Shadow Gate, he helped me get up to speed and generally made the transition easier even though he had more than enough work of his own to do. Since he took over Galeres Aedile he has taken care of house matters with dignity and gusto in Celahir's absence, sometimes being the only Galeres summit member online during the holidays. His attitude and activity has been a shining example for the Brotherhood.

-Socorra, Aedile of House Qel-Droma

I've worked with Sanguinius for approximately half a year now and have, in that time, been consistently surprised. He cares about his House and his Clan with a fervor few can match. Beyond that, though, he cares for people. He never fails to see the person behind every submission, every email, that crosses his inbox. he manages to inspire those in his unit through his constant care for their betterment and well-being in a way few people in online organizations can match. Some people make good leaders because they are charismatic, or because they roll over any task with pure momentum - Sang accomplishes the same by understanding the people around him, caring about their needs, and making sure everyone for whom he is responsible gets the most they possibly can from their time in the Brotherhood. This concerted attention to the needs of his members and his dedication to their improvement within and enjoyment of the club make him more than deserving of this honor.
