The final trial of a Dark Jedi Knight. Assemble your own lightsaber. Incendus Layon Krayt had set to work around two weeks prior. His master, Andrelious J. Inahj, had forced the Zabrak Jedi Hunter to acquire parts not from Arconan holdings, but from other worlds. Inahj didnât care where; he had even dismissed Incendus as the young Gatekeeper tried to tell him about his adventure. The events of the previous fortnight would be known only to Krayt and his personal journal.
The one thing that the Zabrakâs master was aware of was the crystal. It was a fairly standard crystal, much like the one in the Battlelordâs own lightsaber. Placing the crystal into its housing, Incendus attached a power cell, the Force guiding his fingers with remarkable dexterity.
Snapping the hilt shut, the Jedi Hunter picked the finished weapon up. Now, as he thumbed the activation switch, a plan began to form. It was time for the student to rise, time to slay the master.
Deactivating the blade only moments after confirming the weaponâs functionality, Incendus headed along a corridor. Andrelious was waiting, expecting the young Zabrak to present him with the completed lightsaber for his investigation. Only then would Krayt be Knighted.
âSo. You are ready?â Andrelious queried, noticing that his apprentice carrying an unfamiliar hilt.
âMy lightsaber is ready. And so am I.â Incendus hissed, reactivating the new weapon and charging at his master.
Inahj merely chuckled. âSo, you consider yourself my equal now? That you have surpassed me?â he responded as the Force steered his own lightsaber into his hands, its own crimson blade matching its much newer counterpart perfectly.
The two blades met in the air, generating a shower of sparks, but Andrelious soon took advantage of his studentâs relative ineptitude with a lightsaber. The older Sith turned his weapon around and butted Incendus on the head with its hilt. Next, he lifted the Zabrak with the Force and threw him harshly into a nearby table.
âOne day you will be ready to take me on, my boy. But for now, I suggest you be content with Knighthood,â Inahj said, apparently unfazed by Incendusâ attempt on his life.
As Andrelious left the room, Incendus staggered to his feet, rubbing at where the Sithâs saber hilt had made contact. That attack had been relatively minor, but being callously thrown into a table had wounded more than just the Zabrakâs pride. Where his body had collided with the furniture was now marked by a line of bruising.
Kraytâs plan had failed. Andrelious was still alive.
But he was one step closer to ridding the galaxy of the ex-Imperial. Incendus Layon Krayt was now a Dark Jedi Knight.

- He has organised 2 competitions (Whereâs Waldo and Weapons Practice)
- He has completed a final major summit task (see below)
It is my pleasure to report that Incendus is ready for the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. It has been a long road at times, but his determination and willingness to listen and improve cannot be questioned. His final summit task was to write an out-of-character analysis for how heâd found Arcona and how we had helped him advance to the point of being ready for the âbigâ promotion. He completed this with an ease that reflects just how far he has come since he joined. He also gave us invaluable feedback about the process of going through the Journeyman ranks, and even wrote a self reflection essay on how he would go about training his own apprentice. Congrats, Cend, and thanks for everything. I await the next chapter of your DJB career.

Incendusâ journey to this moment has been a long one. It hasnât been easy, and has taken a lot of work from the Arcona leadership team. Through it all, âCend has pushed on, kept his head down and pushed forward. It takes a special kind of resiliance to not always meet instant sucess. A lot of people demand results immediately. Some things just take time, though. It is both my pleasure and honor to see Incendus to be knighted as a member of Arcona. Congratulations Incendus, never give up, never back down and keep moving forward.
